Angie watched from afar as two Lost Boys dragged Wendy back to her cage and threw her inside. Wendy groaned as they slammed the door shut and when she pulled her fingers away from her head, they were tinged with red blood. Angie wished that they were in the same cage so she could at least help to treat the young girl's scratch.
Being alone was the worst way to deal with pain. And although Angie sometimes found it necessary, Wendy shouldn't have had to worry about any such thing.
"Again?" Angie asked as Wendy began to sit up, abandoning her scratch for the time being.
Wendy nodded somberly, her normally wide eyes narrow with exhaustion. "Pan's using me for something...some deception. I don't know why, but it can't be good. And I have no other choice but to play along."
