KASHI'S POV

"Can I get a White Sauce Pasta?"

"No."

"Of Course yes."

I glanced around the table, meeting everyone's gaze as some nodded yes, while others shook their heads no.

"Mummy, Papa said no." I murmured.

"Dad and Mom said yes." I added.

Ranvijay and Mr. Agnihotri remained silent, observing everyone.

Everyone chuckled, easing the environment of the room. Were they all joking? All I wanted was a plate of pasta, and now everyone's laughing.

"Kashi, it's not good for you to eat so much junk food," Mummy advised gently, making Mom smile.

"Mrs. Rao, we make sure to prepare food in a healthy way for her. While pasta won't be her main course, it can be part of her diet for the day if she wants. We want her to feel at home and we don't want to harm her," Mom explained with a smile.

I smiled as I looked down at my plate, filled with vegetables.

My mother smiled, "Thank you for taking care of her."

Taking care of me? Mummy should definitely stop spending time with Mr. Agnihotri - these are the same people who once let that terrible thing happen to me. Huh, they turned me into one of them - a psycho.

It was breakfast time, and everyone seemed preoccupied with thoughts of the wedding. As we finished eating, we made our way to the sitting area to continue our discussions.

"Mummy," a voice called out, and I looked around to see Mr. Agnihotri behind me. Did he call my mummy, mummy?

"Hey! Why are you calling my mummy 'mummy'?" I asked, feeling offended as I turned to face him while everyone else walked on.

"We're getting married, so your parents are my parents too. Right, Papa and Mummy?" he said with a wink.

I stared at him, my jaw dropping.

"Yes, beta ji," my parents replied, chuckling.

"That's not right," I muttered, turning away and heading towards my mother-in-law.

"Areh meri bachi ko pareshan mat karro." Dad said with a smile directed towards me.

[Don't bother my daughter.]

I couldn't help but smile, and even my mother-in-law scolded Mr. Agnihotri.

"Haha, this is fun," I thought.

"How about we talk to the priest about it?" Dad suggested, looking at Mom.

Papa glanced at Mr. Agnihotri, who nodded.

"I've done most of the work, but you can double-check if you want," Mr. Agnihotri said, making Dad nod.

"Two weeks from now is an auspicious day," Mr. Agnihotri announced.
