It was already the next day and I was getting ready to go to school, even though I had a weird feeling about it, my parents even offered me or better said wanted me home because they were scared when they found out that a girl was killed.

When I came back home yesterday they already knew about Sarah since it was all over the news.

They bombarded me with questions: "Did you know her?", "Were you friends with her?", "Do you want to stay at home tomorrow?"

After I answered all their questions I went to my room to be alone for a while.

It was a shock for the whole city but for my parents it was even worse. Just when we thought about starting a new life here and forget about the past, a new nightmare started and I wasn't sure if my parents would still like to live here.

But even after what happened to Sarah, I actually liked it here and started to feel like home. I found new friends and felt really happy. But if I think back to the talk we had at lunch, it was a bit frightening to know that they thought that the killer could be one of the group.

I didn't know them for long but I was sure none of them would be capable to murder. I trusted them, but I was still afraid that the killer would come back.

After I was done with my usual morning routine, Cara took us to school again. But this time we were quiet in the car, the only thing she told me was about the me memorial that would happen in the gym today for Sarah.

After we arrived in school we should all gather around in the gym. The group and I all sat together on the tribune. Cooper still wasn't at school today and the mood of my friends was still down.

The gym was decorated with flowers, sunflowers since they apparently were Sarah's favorite, that's what Mason whispered to me when the director of the school had a speech.

Next to the decorations was also a big picture of her in the middle and candles placed around it.

It was still hard to believe that she was actually dead, gone forever.

Sarah's friends were all standing around the picture, crying. One of the girls was holding her cheer-outfit and placing it down next to the pictures and candles. Even though Amber was a part of the cheer team, she didn't bother to gather around with the rest of the team and instead stayed with us, not shedding a single tear.

The only ones who were crying were Jules and Mason. Both of them were once really close to her still if they hadn't talked to her lately, the good memories they had with each other would last forever.

But seeing Jules- one of the greatest friends I ever had, crying made me tear up too.

After a while the memorial was over and we all headed out of the gym, back to the main building to go to our classes.

Now everyone knew how Sarah was killed, so the rumors about her death were cleared up, but now there were many assumptions of who the killer could be.

A few of them were still about Mason but some of them were also about a cruel killer who was after teenagers for literally no reason. But I was sure that the person who killed her, had a reason and didn't do it just for "fun".

Before I could go to my class, I had to go to my locker to take out my books. Amber and Jules already left since their lockers were all the way down the hall. Mason just vanished, he probably already went to his class.

So now Cara and I were left, to our luck we had the next period the same.

Cara was busy on her phone when I opened my locker but to my surprise there was something else waiting for me than just my books.
