I was still shocked about Amber's message, how could she know who the killer is? I wanted answers, who else could it be if it's not Amber?

I waited multiple minutes for another text by Amber where she would show me the truth. But she didn't reply. I thought about texting Cara or Jules to tell them about it. But they would've probably stayed suspicious about Amber and found another reason to not believe her.

That's why I kept it to myself, at least for now.

My eyes were almost glued to the screen, waiting until it would finally show her being online again.

"Amber, are you still here?" I texted after a while, slowly losing my patience.

I gave up all my hopes that she would respond and decided it's for the best to finally go to bed and try to sleep.

But in that exact same moment when I tucked myself into bed my phone - which was on my nightstand - lit up.

I expected it to be Amber, finally replying but when I took my phone, it was our group chat. The text was sent by an anonymous number though, I thought someone may have changed their number. There was no picture and no name, everything was blank.

But when I went into the group chat there was a picture sent in. First it was just loading, and I wondered who would send a random picture into the chat.

After a few seconds the picture was finally loaded but in the same moment the phone dropped out of my hand by the gruesomeness that I just saw.

It showed Amber laying in a red poodle, covered in multiple stab wounds.

I thought what I saw when Mason was killed was awful but this is almost worse.

After a few moments I could get myself to pick up the phone to take another look at this horrifying picture.

I couldn't find out where she was, the only thing that the picture showed was the floor, where the killed Amber laid on the red ground.

The wounds were mostly on her stomach, some on the arms and one was where the heart was, probably to make sure she was actually dead. Just like the killer made sure that Mason was dead by hanging up.

Amber was dead and there was nothing to undo that. But that also showed that Amber was not the killer, she was innocent. She died thinking that everyone hated her and thought of her as the killer. She knew who it was, she knew her own killer but she couldn't tell anyone in time.

That almost meant that the killer was still out there, planning who's turn is next.

Everyone else was in the groupchat too, probably also not believing what they were seeing.

Anonymous is typing... suddenly appeared at the top.

It took a few seconds until the text was sent.

"This is what happens when you find out too much..."

The killer was in our chat, but how could they get in? A few seconds later the killer got removed from the chat, it must've been Cara, she was the admin of it.

For a few moments no one texted anything, everyone was probably too shocked to say something.

"Is this real? Is she actually dead?"

Jules texted skeptical, it probably was real. There were many things that agreed to it, just like her telling me she would get proof to show who the real killer was and moments later she gets killed.
