Chapter13:Lavenders💜

Aiden's POV:-

I reached outside her place, and then the door opened, she walked outside wearing a Denim skirt and a White crop top, her Curly hair styled with a bow, some of it pulled back reaching her back.
To be honest, it was a beautiful sight for my sore eyes; all my tiredness flew away as she waved at me.
I waved in response.

She came and sat down beside me in the car. Then I leaned over to help her put her seatbelt on. She was stunned by my actions but decided to keep still. I fastened it and leaned back to my side. Now, the whole car smells like roses with a little sweet mist, just like her.

"You should have told me to fasten it." she said while looking outside, her cheeks flushed.

"I wanted to do it, and you would have gotten your hair tangled inside," I said.

"Ohhhh, now this makes sense," she said as if my line had changed the atmosphere dramatically, not realizing what I had said first.

We reached and parked the car to go inside the mall. First, we had lunch, then we headed to a boutique. The whole store was filled with women, and they were looking at me with their eyes wide.

"You don't have to feel nervous, I'll make you feel better."
Aurora said as she grabbed my hand and directed me to the other side of the store.

She made me sit on a couch in front of the changing room and went to see some dresses.
A few minutes later, she came back with a few of them and went to try them on. Then she said, "I am coming outside."

"Okay," I said, not knowing what was coming up.

She came wearing a royal blue ruffle dress, its length just below her thigh, with an off-shoulder top that perfectly fit her curves, showing off half her cleavage.

I was captivated by her, my eyes transfixed on her, not hearing anything she said.

"Do I look fat in this? You can be honest," she said nervously.
How am I supposed to tell her that I couldn't take my eyes off her?

"Ahem-ahem, I mean, do you really want an honest opinion?"

"Yeah, do I look bad?"

"Oh no, Cara, I was just drowned in your beauty just now, and no one will be able to drag their eyes away from you, trust me."

What I said was true, but I wouldn't let someone else see her.

She tried another dress, a mid-length white dress with puff sleeves. She looked like a Snow White cat. And I said this to her.

To which she said,
"Thank you, baby."

I looked at her, but she had already gone to change.

The last one is a purple backless satin gown, with a few chains crisscrossed on the back and diamonds hanging along with it. She looks like a field full of lavenders recently bloomed, in which I can lay down and feel love.

"I think it is made only for you, Cariad."

"I will wear it tomorrow." she said with a small jump filled with joy.

Later, we went shopping for her footwear. She insisted on visiting a jewelry shop, where we both ended up getting bracelets with 'A' initial charms.

"Even our initials are the same, Aurora," I remarked.

"Yeah, I just noticed that. What a coincidence," she replied.
