Chapter21:Realisation

Aiden's POV:-

We reached Cyrus's house, a two-story building. He helped us, and I laid Aurora in bed. He told us she would wake up in a few hours. I refused to leave her side.

"Your wound is serious, Aiden. I'll help you get to the other room." he said.

"He's right, bro. Come with me." Jim said,
reaching to help me up from her side on the bed.

"I..Will..Not..Leave..Her..Side" I growled.

"*Sighs* I'll get the first aid kit for you." Cyrus said.

In a few minutes, he treated my wound, did stitches, and hell, it hurt.

He bandaged me and covered my abdomen area.

In pain, I fell asleep on the couch while Jim and Cyrus went outside.

A few hours later, I woke up and saw Aurora sitting in bed.

I went to her bedside, kneeling down, just to ask if she was alright.

She made me stand and told me how those retarded bastards treated her.
Just wait—they'll suffer as I want them to. Even devils will have mercy on them when they see their state.

I was lost in thought for a second, and Aurora seemed frightened by my expression.

I cleared my thoughts and told her that I would make them pay, and that she had to stay away from me.

And then she asked me, "Do you remember what you said in the car?"

Fucking hell, I got anxious for the first time in my life. And yes, I remembered everything—and what she said too.

And then...

She kissed me again. I slightly pulled back. Yes, she was sober, her eyes looking into mine, begging for more. I said, "Fuck it," and went for it—the beautiful yet heart-wrenching moment for me.

My desire grew, and it only continued to grow. I kissed her lips so eagerly that, whenever she touches them, she’ll remember only me. I sucked, licked, and even bit her lips. She did the same too.

It made me happy that she felt the same heat for me as I did for her. My hand roamed around to feel her against me. Damn, I love her. Yes, I love everything about her.

Now the heat is growing in my pants, but I didn't want her to think that I am after her body.

She pulled back slightly,
maybe I kissed her too hard. Her cheeks were flushed, and her breaths were heavy. She wasn't looking me in the eyes, and then she said something I couldn’t accept:

"Think of it as closure of feelings."

Closure of feelings? She hasn’t even seen what my feelings for her are...

*Sighs* Should I leave everything behind and cage her to myself, give her all my love so she’ll never want to leave?

Fuck, I want to pin her to the bed.

I just nodded at her statement, and she left the room.

Maybe this is right for both of us. And I’m to blame for separating her from me.

When I got outside the room, Jim was patting her on the head.

Why was this bastard doing that? I stood behind Aurora and glared at Jim. With a smile, he stepped back. Aurora saw me and went back into the room.

Then Jim asked in a low voice, only audible to me,
"Care to tell me what's going on? Why is everything so strained between you two?"

"I'll tell you, but first, make arrangements to get to them," I said.

"I knew something was up when you asked both of us on this 'vacation' (killing). Now, tomorrow we’ll leave, and Aura will stay here," he said.

"I want her to stay here, but if she asks to go, let her go. Okay?" I said.

"Sure," he replied.

Then I laid down on the bed in Cyrus's guest room.

Two hours later...

Aurora's POV:-

Bella and Christine arrived at our place.

Fortunately, I opened the door for them, as Aiden was in another room.

I hugged both of them and, stupidly, cried while holding onto them tightly.

Then Jim and Cyrus came downstairs from the second floor. Doc sure has a big house.

Not too surprisingly, Jim approached Bella like a puppy and hugged her.
Bella pulled back slightly, embarrassed.
"Ahmm, it's a good thing that you're okay." she said, sounding robotic, though her cheeks were still red.

Then Christine whispered in my ear, "Doc is too hot and kinda nerdy."

Wow, I feel like Cupid or something. I'm trying to detach myself from Aiden, and they're only getting closer to his friends.

It took me seconds to realize that Doc and Chrisi were already making eye contact.

It would be nice if the three of us and the three of them ended up together.

But can the universe make it true?
Argh! I should stop being delusional.
I need to leave this place ASAP.

"Chrisi, Bells... I want to tell you guys something," I said.

Then Jim chimed in, "Ah—yeah, you guys talk, we have some matters to take care of."

I took both of them into the room where I had woken up. I told them everything—every detail, every touch, and how I didn’t think about stopping. Everything.

They went silent for a second, and then Christine said,
"Well, you were an inch away from having sex."

She hugged me tightly.

"Now you're gonna feel horny whenever you see him, bitch."

Wow, is this what I needed? Absolutely. These bitches cheer me up for everything.

Bella nodded and added, "Finally, you admit it. And I guess we made you realize it."

"And I’m going to divorce Cole and make Aiden realize he loves me too," I said.

"You don't have to do that, Aura. He knows he loves you, but he wants to protect you from hurdles. Trust me, he’ll give in, in a few days," Christine said.

The next thing Bella said was, "We should check on Aiden too, bro got hurt saving you."

"You both go. I can't face him right after such an intense moment," I said.

"Okay, we'll be back in 2 minutes... in the meantime, think about him in your scenarios," Bella said teasingly.

I showed them the middle finger. "Fuck you."

*Laugh* "Love you." She said.

I’ll leave in an hour and tell that cheater that I'm done with him.
