Chapter19:Dumb :)

Cole's POV:-

On my first day of college, I met her,Aurora.
We had a good time together. I didn't see her as the opposite gender.
I knew she liked me, but I loved Natalie. My father won't allow me to marry her, which is why Nate suggested I marry someone less intelligent so we could continue our relationship without any labels.

Aurora seemed like a perfect target to me. Young and innocent, someone I could marry in name only, and be with her for a while to give her a child to take care of.

But I never thought she was like this.
Our plan worked until the wedding.

But that night, I felt disgusted by her.
Totally different from Natalie, she has a thick body. I went to my love that night, but this dumb girl found out early about us and slapped Nate, for which she had to visit a doctor. Now I can't even act with her.

At our first event after marriage, aura met with the guy I hate the most. I also hate to admit that I am scared of him. No one knows him better than me. I know how brutal he is.

I can be with anyone, but Aura is doing this with my rival.

As days pass by, Natalie has become strange too. She doesn't answer my calls or respond to my messages. I love her, and I did everything she said.

On Aurora's birthday...

I came home after fighting with Natalie, as I saw her talking to another man, whom she assured me was just a friend.

Now my father called.

"We have sent a cake and a gift for her."

"For whom?" I asked.

"Aurora, it's her birthday. Aren't you aware?" Dad said, as if I need to take care of this idiot.

"Ah, yes, we are going out," I said.

"Okay, I won't disturb you. You guys enjoy," Dad said and ended the call.

*Sighs* I celebrated her birthday in the dorm last year and ended up hooking up with a girl from our batch in a car. Unfortunately, Bella and Christine found out just before our farewell. But those two idiots didn't happen to have any evidence.

I hacked Aura's phone and made everything go my way.

Now it's past midnight, and she isn't home yet.

I looked at the elegant brown beige cake.
I took a knife and destroyed its design first, which helped me release some frustration.

Then I sat down to eat the crumbled cake. I really like destroying things and people, even my family.

As I was eating, Aura entered with a few gifts and a bouquet in her hand.

Seeing her all dressed up like this, a thought occurred:AURA looks so different. I guess I was wrong about her.
But I was right about her fucking that bastard.
As I saw his car leaving my lawn,
I said out of nowhere,
"Happy Birthday, Aura."

"Thank you," she said,
fear growing on her face as she hurriedly went inside her room.

Wow... I am amused by her reaction. Seeing fear in someone's eyes can be soothing sometimes.

Maybe I love it.

But I can't do anything when it comes to Natalie. I snatched her away from my brother and did everything in my power to make her mine.

And I also did something I may have guilt for.

I will wait for a few days, just to catch Natalie red-handed...
