Aurora's POV:-

~He came to save me , but why he is covered in blood?~

I panicked, and my eyes flew open.
It was a nightmare.

Christine and Bella were sitting by my sides.
"I want to see Aiden. He’s in danger," I said.

"You need rest, Aura," Bella replied.

But I kept insisting, repeating the same line over and over.

Christine drove us to the doctor’s place.
Unfortunately, no one was there.

A few minutes later, they arrived.

Aiden's hands were wrapped in bloodied bandages.

Why? How had everything changed so much in just a few hours?

I stood in front of him,
and in this serious moment, I want to kiss him?
What the hell?
Then my eyes went to his wounds.

I held them, my heart sinking in pain just by looking at him, but I asked what I needed to know…
and then I heard the shattering of my heart, and maybe his too.

I left with Chrisi and Bella.

We decided that I’d move in with Christine since she has a vacant room.

I grabbed my things and nothing more—just my clothes and my gadgets.
I held the precious butterfly bouquet tightly as I sat in the car,
wondering why Aiden would go to such lengths to stay away from me.
Sometimes, he feels like a wave of water—coming closer, then disappearing in a glimpse...

~Meanwhile  Aiden At Cardiff Mansion ~

Aiden's POV:-

Father welcomed me with a hug.

"Finally, you came to see this old man, huh?" Dad said.

"I need you, Dad," I said, hugging him back, the pain in my heart almost unbearable.

"Hey, are you crying? What happened?
Do you need anything? Just say the word, Aid. I'm still alive—I'll burn this whole damn country if I have to. Just don’t cry, Mab (son)," Dad said.

I looked at him.
"Can we drink?" I asked.

Dad agreed, and we sat in the garden with two glasses and a bottle of scotch.

After a few drinks, I noticed him staring at me, questions written all over his face.

I sighed.
"I love a girl named Aurora. She's Cole's wife.
I've known many girls, but her… she's different from everyone else.
I want her, but I don't deserve her—" I started, but Dad cut me off.

"But you can't stand to see her with someone else," he said with a smirk.
"And what about Cole?" He took a sip of his drink.

"They're getting divorced. After yesterday's incident, when I came back, she wanted to see me first thing in the morning," I replied, while drinking.

"So... the heat of the fire is equal on both sides?...
You know, when I saw your mother for the first time, I felt, ♡I want her. If she deserves better, I'll become that for her♡." Dad said.

"Aren't you against all this?" I asked him.

"Why? If you love her, introduce her to me next time.
And what are these bruises? Did you get beaten up?" Dad asked.

"No, I treated that bastard like a punching bag," I said, then explained the kidnapping of Aura in detail.

"Ohh, so he kidnapped my daughter-in-law.
Fe ddylech chi fod wedi ei losgi'n fyw. Mab. (You should’ve burned him alive, son)," he said seriously.

"D.I.L? You're quick, Father," I replied.

"Your mom would have had you two married even before the girl’s divorce," Dad said.

We had finished the whole bottle, and I felt a little intoxicated.

"Father, do you want to hear my story?" I asked.

He nodded. After that, I talked about Aurora until morning.

And we fell asleep in the garden.

In the morning...

Dad woke me up, and I took a bath while he made breakfast.

He sat next to me to eat his meal.
"Does it matter to you if she isn't untouched? I mean, she is married..." Dad asked seriously.

I looked back at him and said honestly,
"Not at all, Father. I love her, and that's all that matters. The past doesn't matter, but if she is mine, she is only mine. I'm obsessed with everything about her.
even when she curses, I believe it's the most beautiful thing she could say.
I'm no saint, Dad. but she is a goddess And I'm her worshiper."

"That's good. If you had said no, I would've picked up a belt and started thrashing it on you.
Because I raised you to be a man. It's good to know I did well." Dad said.

I felt chills because I knew he could still beat me even at this age.

~Two days Later ~

Aurora's POV:-

Jimmy called me.
-"Are you alright, sis?" he asked.

-"Yes, how about you? And is he fine?"

He sighed.
-"He’s fine, Aurora. Don’t wait for someone; make them come faster."

-"What does that mean?"

-"Go to 'The Vale Resort' with your friends and look for someone capable. If you do, you’ll understand everything I want to say..."

He said that and ended the call.

Then I went to Christine and told her everything. We both informed Bella, and she said,
"If you're fine, Aurora, then I'm okay with it."

"Yes, babe, and I want to hang out too—just me and my two bitches," I replied.

Then she agreed and hung up.

~After an hour~

I wore Christine's crimson slit dress, paired with black heels and crimson lipstick.
Christine wore a black tulle dress, and Bella donned a pink backless dress.

We arrived at the club in a car, and damn, all eyes were on us.
Christine whispered,
"I’m sure we look like aliens."

"Shut up... WE ARE SLAYING, BITCH!" Bella retorted.

"My aim is to find someone capable. Let’s go sit at the bar." I said sarcastically.

We sat down and ordered martinis, but I wasn't enjoying mine. I sat on the side, with Bella in the middle and Christine on the other side.

Then, a guy with shiny black hair approached me. It was unbelievable.
"Can I buy you a drink?" he asked.

Christine gave me a thumbs-up, while Bella made a disgusted expression.

"Sure." I replied with a pleasant smile.

We chatted for a few minutes, but I realized I wasn't made for this kind of thing.

Then he leaned in closer...
No, no, no! I couldn’t let this happen. I pulled back instantly, keeping him at arm's length.

But my worst-case scenario stood before me.

Aiden was standing there, disbelief etched on his face, his hands clenched into a big, veiny fist.

I guess God is playing chess, with us as his pawns...
