Chapter14:He Loves Me?

Aurora's POV:-

After an hour, we arrived at a villa decorated in a purple and black theme. He covered my eyes with his hands. "Just wait for a minute; there's a surprise for you."

"Huh? One more? You've already done enough till now."

"That's something even more special."

My curiosity was at its peak as he led the way inside.
"Now you can open your eyes."

I opened my eyes and saw two beautiful creatures of my life. I started crying, and the first thing that came out of my mouth was,

"You fucking bitches." I walked quickly towards them, and as they came to me, I threw myself at both of them, and the three of us started crying together.

A few minutes later, I looked back at Aiden, and now I realized that he had planned all of this.

"We are really sorry for not reaching out to you, Aura," Christine said.

"It's okay,we can talk about this later. I'm really glad to meet both of you today. There are lots of things to tell you two."
I said in response.

Then Aiden came near me and whispered in my ear,

"I didn't know you curse too." I looked at him with wide eyes.
Shit, this is so embarrassing.

"I just do it in front of them. " I replied.

"It's good to release emotion in curses." he said with a smirk.

"I think so." I said.

"Cara, I'll sit away for a while," he said while his hand traced my hair.

"Won't you feel alone?" I asked shyly.

"Don't worry, Jim will join me soon." he said.

"He's coming too?" Bella said. I looked back at her.

"You know him too?" I asked her suspiciously.

"No, we've only met once." she said nervously.

"Really? By the way, he's a great guy." I assured her.

"Now excuse me, ladies," Aiden said and sat far from our table.

Now it's time to solve our misunderstandings, but it turns out that someone else separated us.

"We called you, but you didn't answer, and suddenly an email came to our phone, saying that you don't want to see us ever again, and many inappropriate things were written. We never thought you could write something like that." bella stated.

"I didn't know what you guys are talking about. I didn't pick up your calls, but I didn't send any emails. Trust me."

"What? Then why didn't you call us?" Christine said.

"I did, but no one picked up. And later, my number got changed after marriage."

When I told them, Christine showed me that email, and it was clear who wrote it: Cole.

"It's Cole's wording; I know how he speaks. But I didn't think he would go beyond the limit, he had access to my everything. " I said.

"He's a psycho weirdo. He did all of this. Now we should forget about it," Bella said.

"Yeah, but at least your first night was good, right?" Christine asked teasingly.

And then again, I told them about everything, like how I got cheated on this whole time, how I am scared of him.
Both of them listened to my whole story and said,

"This fucker, I knew he is just a pretty big
d!ck. How could he do this to you?" Christine said.

"And you should leave him. He is good for nothing. Your life shouldn't be like this, babe," Bella said.

"I know, but I can't figure out anything. Even about Aiden, he is just like my dream man. He was always there when I was crying or not in my right state. And I just can't figure out if he is the same from the inside or not," I told them.

"We can sense it too, Aura. He is a nice man. And if you haven't figured it out yet, we must tell you what we've noticed till now: He loves you, Aura." Bella said.

"He loves me? No, you guys are just making assumptions," I said.

"No, not at all. We have seen how he looks at you." Christine said.

"How he looks at me?" I asked in a low and curious way.

"With pure desire to be with you, like he never saw someone as precious as you are." Christine described.

The way Christine described it, I looked at him. He was looking at me from across the table. I caught him stealing glances, and now his eyes were asking me if everything was okay. I assured him with a smile. Then, I started deeply looking into his eyes, neither of us breaking the contact. His eyes were darkening, and it was so sensual that I felt my breathing getting heavier. The eye contact was interrupted by Jimmy's arrival.

No way, I didn't wanted it to break.
Jim came straight to my table and handed me a box. "Happy Birthday, Aurora."

"Thank you so much, Jimmy, for all of these," I replied, realizing he must have helped with the arrangements since he's Aiden's friend who manages things.

"Me? For all this? I mean, he solely did all the arrangements. I only got to know today about everything, including the venue," Jim clarified.

*He did all this, alone? For me?* I was surprised.

I looked his way suddenly, noticing that he is wearing a lavender shirt with navy blue pants. We were twinning like a couple.

He was heading towards me, my heart pounding faster, and he stood just in front of me.

"I planned all this on the day before yesterday." he said.

He came just to say this?

"Ahem, th-thank yo-" I was saying,
then Bella interrupted, "Let's cut the cake."

I turned back, and Christine blinked at me. We cut the cake and took some beautiful pictures together. Christine insisted we take a picture with Aiden, and God! The pic turned out to be so beautiful. We took a few more.

We made plans to go to the club, and Jim arranged things for this request from all three of us. We decided that Aiden would drive, and I would sit beside him, while the other three would sit in the back, as Jimmy's car fuel ran out.

We reached the club and drank a few glasses of wine and a tequila shot. Now, that's what created a problem because cocktails hit differently for beginners...
