It all started when she came out of the world, from under her mother's womb. Her mother was asleep as she struggled to come out from under it. She struggled and wanted to come out. Her mother felt every inch of pain in her body.
And finally, she was out there. The baby crawled out and saw a very bright light. In fact, she made it. Out. Alive. She finally crawled out and was in the world for the first time. And then she felt a pain on her back—she doesn't know which spot exactly.
The baby cried. The mother woke up. "It's over," she said. "It's over." The nurse in front of her answered. "What will you name her?" She asked.
The mother knew this before she came here. "Ashley." The mother answered. It was a not-too-girly and not-too tomboyish name. Which was perfect.
"She will have to stay in the hospital for a couple of days for appointments and check-ups and to make sure the baby is in good condition. Don't you worry. You can lie down here until the pain has left your body. And please wait. The doctor still has to fix you." The nurse said.
"Yes, yes, yes, alright. I'm just excited." And she will be.
It was three months after the baby was born. Ashley, the baby, was now three months old and had a dentist appointment that her mother booked. Her mother had planned it in advance and made sure that day was free. Which was today.
As her mom drove to the appointment, she realized she was going to care for the baby as much as she could, and she just loved her. Even if it meant planning so many appointments,.
She had arrived there. She opened the door to the clinic and walked up to the front desk. "Hi. I'm here because my baby had an appointment." She said. The person looked at the baby she was carrying. "She's Ashley?" She asked. "Ashley Andrews." The mother replied back.
"Please sit down. The appointment will start once the dentist is done." She said. "Thank you." The mother replied. She hurried over to the chairs and sat down on one of them. She was two seats beside another mom, whose baby was crying wildly. She was glad that during the ride here, Ashley didn't cry at all.
The sound was very loud. The mom was trying to calm down the baby. "It's OK," she said. "Don't cry." She sighed. Ashley's mom watched the other mom. The other mom searched in her purse for something. She pulled out a bottle of milk and placed the top of the bottle in the baby's mouth. Judging by the size, Ashley's mom thinks the other baby is one month old. The baby drank the milk and quickly calmed down. Ashley's mom smiled. Perhaps she could do that.
"What's her name?" Ashley's mom asked. The other mom turned to look at her. "Oh, you were watching? Oh! Uhh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry if she cried, and only now have I clamed her down." The other mom studied her. She had blonde hair, peach skin, and gray eyes. "Her name is Alexandra. It's not mine, the baby's."
While the mom's chatted for a bit, Ashley crawled out of her mom's hands and onto the chair beside it. So did Alexandra. She had a short blonde fuzz over her head, while Ashley's was brown. Ashley poked at Alexandra's arms. Alexandra laughed and poked her back. Ashley poked her again, but this time in the left arm. They kept poking each other in the arms until Ashley and Alexandra were separated into different dentist rooms.
And Ashley never saw her again.

12:58. 12:59...
Finally, the first four hours of work are over. It's my lunch break! I'm quite hungry; surely I bring my lunch bag every day.
Except... I forgot to bring it. Ugh. It's OK. I got up from my seat. I'm going out to the food court to eat. This building doesn't have one; I have to walk there, but it's not far from here.
Finally, my food was ready. After waiting in a very long line during lunch hour, There were a lot of people here since it was lunch break. I took the tray I was served and found a clean table to eat. The food I ordered was rice, carrots, and some meat. And I apparently forgot my water, so I also asked for that.
I started to eat. How could I forget my lunch bag? At least the food was good. "Excuse me?' Someone said.
I looked up. The person had blonde hair, blue eyes, and light skin. "Can I sit at this table?" She asked. "All the other tables are full, so I'm asking." "Sure," I replied.
She sat herself down and ate the sushi on her tray. While she and Ashley ate, she realized the person who was sitting at her table looked familiar. Except from where?
Ashley stared at the empty bowl she now had, thinking. Hmmm...?
Oh!
"Are you Alexandra?" Ashley asked. The person bolted up. "That's right." She said. "How do you know?"
"I'm Ashley. I think we met before." Ashley said. "Recognize me?"
Alexandra stared at her for a while. "Oh, now I remember you!" She said. "Except you're quite different from how I last saw you."
"We were babies. Of course we look so much different now." Ashley responded. "That's true." Alexandra said. "You work around here? I never knew!" "So did I." Ashley said. "Hey, why don't we eat lunch here every day? That'll be cool." Ashley said. "That's a good idea," Alexandra said.
And then we talked a bit more—about life, about kids, about things in general! "Oh no," Alexandra said. "Lunch hour has ended. I should go back."
"Yeah. We don't want to be late." I said. "Bye!"
"Bye!" Alexandra said while I threw my things away.
That was fun. I reunited with someone in the correct way.
