𝐅𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒, arguably, the most idiotic girl in all of auradon. truly, how could she be so reckless? it didn't matter that it was audrey who had put the spell on her, no, it only mattered that she was too weak to maintain control.

as she paced outside evie's cottage, hands clutching the necklace she wore, she did not even notice the leaning figure on the front door. unbeknownst to her, he was smirking, happy to finally see the girl he had been dreaming about for months.

"well matey, tha' was a nice show yer performed for us, eh?" he pushed himself off the frame, his smirk growing in size as she jumped at his voice. her hands began to shake as she met the heavy smoked out eyes of the speaker.

harry hook.

she almost fainted, those eyes tearing into her as they did so long ago. he looked the same: hair a tad darker and messier, muscles more defined, and still wearing the dark red coat that brought out his eyes oh so well.

"hi.. uh- please don't tell anyone about that. actually, if you could just forget everything that just happened? i know it's a lot.. believe me, but-" fayebelle stopped talking and took a large inhale in as she watched harry's frame inch closer. he kept walking closer to her until they were practically touching.

harry had fun teasing his duckling. up close, he was reminded just how short she was, and how adorably cute. her eyes were blown wide in shock and her mouth slightly parted. when harry used his hook to card through the ends of her hair, she all but squeaked.

"now why would yer want to hide, ducklin'?" he asked, his wide smile growing even large as he watched her stutter over her words and try to find the answer.

"oh.. uhm.. uh.." god fayebelle was mentally slapping herself. her composure was already faulty because of what happened minutes prior, but near the pirate it had slipped farther from her reach, her breath becoming ragged and uneven.

"tha's not an answer, love."

this had to be torture, fayebelle thought, but if this was torture, she would gladly endure it.

"because people look at me differently.. when they find out. they think i'm a monster." she looked away in shame, rubbing her left hand over her arm. she wasn't cold, but she was ashamed. she barely knew harry and she was spilling her secrets.

"good girl." his accent drew out the syllables as he lifted her cheek with his hook. the blush on her cheeks had spread all the way to her ears and neck at this point.

"now 'ow could anyone think yer a monster? aye, yer so small the kids on the isle would eat yer for dinner. yer should be proud. tha' magic makes yer special, alrigh' lovely?"

fayebelle had looked into his eyes for the longest eyes, not being able to respond.

nobody had ever said that to her. her father said that her magic was something to be coveted, treated with the utmost caution and never exposed. people called her many names back at home: a freak, a witch, the devil, but never special.

and god, if fayebelle wasn't absolutely head over heels for harry hook already, she was definitely down bad after this conversation. because how could a man she had barely known show more care than her father had in all her life.

but attraction wasn't all that drew fayebelle to harry.

she was infatuated with him. so much so she got lost in his blue eyes and didn't even realize the other villain kids coming out until mal had cleared her throat with a smirk.

fayebelle had taken a few steps back from harry and set her gaze to the floor, embarrassed that she had gotten caught in such an intimate moment. when she finally looked back up, she almost wished she had buried herself in a snow pile.

mal and evie were smirking, before evie begrudgingly passed money to mal and sent fayebelle a wink. this only caused her blush to soar up even farther. jay, on the other hand, was not as pleased and was all but held back by carlos as he shot daggers in harry's direction. uma just rolled her eyes, sighing like there were definitely worse instances she had walked in on.

thankfully, walking out on harry and fayebelle had taken their attention away from the storm she had caused, and it was just a tad bit better than being confronted about her outburst.

"okay, so, we all think that audrey could be at fairy cottage. we've no idea where it is, did she take you there?" mal asked ben, after the awkward tension had drizzled down and the calm aroma had returned.

"every fairy godmother's day." he replied,  turning to look at the rest of the group. now, more than ever, fayebelle urged to have her bow in hand. she wanted nothing more than to pull back the string and shoot an arrow straight at audrey for all the stress she had caused.

not to kill her, but to simply wound and allow mal to break the curse.

but god, the thoughts of arrows seemed so tempting to fayebelle at this point.

the group had said a few more words before finally devising a plan of action. jane, doug and gil were to go find fairy godmother together, while the rest of them were to go find audrey at fairy cottage.

it was a simple plan, fayebelle just hoped it would go accordingly.
