After Gray collapsed from Nathanel's virus magic, Team Fairy Tail came into the fight. Wendy ran to Gray to heal him, while everyone else engaged in battle with members of Twisted Angel. Makarov ran to Okzar. He then used his giant magic to make his fist big. He then crushed it down on Okzar.

After he defeated Okzar, he went on to the next person in his way.

"Get out of my way," Makarov said. Little did he know the person in front of him was the one to lead him to Alex.

"You must be the one Alex wants me to pass a message to." Kalonus said. "Alex says Ur's finally chosen a side. Follow the crystals to find her." Gramps stopped in his tracks. He then noticed the man in front of him didn't want to hurt him. He nodded, then rushed off to find the crystals Alex spoke of.

Gray watched Makarov run off. He turned back just in time to miss an attack from his opponent. He quickly took care of the Twisted Angel member. He then ran off after the Fairy Tail master.

After Kalonus put Alex in the cell and walked back up from the dungeon, she attached an invisible magic circle to him that left small crystals behind him. Thank the Goddess; he didn't put those magic-blocking cuffs on her again. Not soon after Kal left, Alex heard footsteps in the hall. She readied a magic spell. When she saw it was Master, she quickly dissipated it. Master worked on getting the cell door open when Alex heard footsteps coming down the hall. Master must have heard them too, because he stopped working to get ready to attack. Alex felt a sudden boost of magic.

"Gray! Over here!" Alex hollered. Master turned to look at her like she was stupid. Alex simply smiled. Just then Gray came into view, and Master calmed down a bit and went back to working on getting her out.

"Here, Gramps, let me. Ice-Make: Key!" Gray chanted. He then held out a key made of ice, and Master took it and inserted it. When he turned it in the lock, the door popped open. Alex ran out and bent to the master's level and gave him a hug, thanking him for coming to rescue her. He just brushed it off. Alex then stood up and walked over to Gray. She hesitated, but gave him a hug too. She knew he would come for her. He was her savior, after all.

When they got out of the guildhall, Alex saw everyone locked in battle. Suddenly, Master called out to Laxus. Laxus nodded, then shot lightning into the sky. When it came down, it targeted every Twisted Angel member. In one attack, all of the Twisted Angel members were down. Alex then found Kal and grabbed him. She pulled him onto her back, as he was unconscious. They all then headed back to Magnolia and back to the rest of the guild. Once they were on the train, Wendy was healing Kal, and Natsu was hanging out the window, looking like he was ready to puke. Alex looked at Wendy and noticed she was pushing herself a little too hard.

"Hey Wendy, take it easy. I can make a herbal mix quickly. Just rest." Alex told her. "Herbal-make: Herbal Mix!" She then packed the herbs into Kal's wounds.

When they got to the guildhall, Natsu took Kalonus to the infirmary. Makarov sent Jet to get the guild's doctor. When she arrived, she went straight to the infirmary and didn't speak to anyone. Makarov followed her. Alex turned to Lucy and asked about her.

"That's Porlyusica. She doesn't like humans, and she normally does her practices at home, but in cases like Kal's, she comes to the guildhall. It's best to stay on her good side. Otherwise, she will chase you out with a broom. Sometimes the broom comes out of nowhere. Let's just say she's scarier than Erza when you knock her cake on the floor." Alex was kind of scared of her now.

"I'm going to go see if there's anything I can help her with," Alex said, walking towards the infirmary. They nodded. Alex then turned to see Kyla, looking worried. She nodded, knowing what she wanted. She didn't have to use telepathy or anything; it was written on her face. She was worried about her brother. They then walked into the infirmary.
