Kalonus led Kyla and Alex to the eastern field. When they got to the field, they saw the entire guild of Twisted Angel and even some of the citizens. Kalonus led the girls to the center of the crowd. They saw Nathanel giving autographs. Apparently, he was famous around here. Probably for putting people in the hospital. They waited for Okzar to get there before they started the fight. When Okzar got there, everyone quickly got out of his way.

"Okay! Let's get this fight underway. I want an exciting fight." Okzar said. Everyone moved a fair distance from the fighters. Everyone began placing bets on Nathanel. Kalonus was the only one to place a bet on the girls. Kyla was talking with Alex, trying to figure out what they were going to do.

"How are we going to defeat him if we don't even know his magic?" Kyla asked Alex.

"I don't know Ky, but we need to figure it out before we start this fight. What if we ask Kal?" Alex asked. Kyla nodded, then called Kalonus over.

"What do you need, girls?" Kalonus asked.

"Could you give us a little insight into Nathanel?" Kyla asked.

"Well, he's the guild master's son; he uses black magic, and he's the strongest one of us. He's our only S-class mage." Kalonus said he listed everything he knew about Nathanel. When the girls heard that he used black magic, they both paled.

"What kind of black magic does he use? That I know of, there are only 5 types of black magic." Alex said.

"I've heard he uses virus magic." Kalonus said. "Though I've never fought him personally, so I'm not sure." With that, Kalonus left to join the crowd.

"Okay, so we might be screwed." Kyla said. Alex nodded. They then looked over to look at Nathanel, who looked bored. They then decided it was time to get serious and got into a battle stance.

"It looks like our challengers are ready to fight." Okzar said. "Well, my boy, are you ready?" Nathanel tsked. "Let the fight begin!"

Nathanel looked at the girls, and they started feeling sick to their stomachs.

"HERBAL-MAKE: ANTIDOTE!" Alex chanted. She then stood, ready.

"It looks like we figured out what his magic is exactly." Kyla said she felt relief from Alex's spell. Alex nodded.

"We could split, and I could go attack, and you could heal." Kyla said. Alex nodded again. Kyla then ran forward and shifted into her wolf form. Nathanel just looked at her, and she started feeling weak.

"ALEX!" Kyla yelled in pain.

"ELEMENTAL-MAKE: POISON RAIN!" Alex chanted. It began raining poison everywhere on the battle arena. Nathanel just stood there, getting hit with the poison, not even flinching. Kyla was confused. Why wasn't the rain affecting him? He's probably seen and felt worse. This must be why he's the only S-class mage. Kyla decided to use her telepathy to talk to Alex, so Nathanel doesn't know their strategy.

Alex, we have to use stronger attacks on him, Kyla said.

Right, but I don't have any strong attacks. All I got is strong supporters.

Alex, remember the attack you used three years ago? A night of stars or whatever

Night of Shining Stars?

Yeah, that one. Use it and target Nathanel with all the magic power you can. Alex nodded.

"MEMORY-MAKE: NIGHT OF SHINING STARS!" Alex yelled. She then focused on putting all her magic into the attack. Kyla then ran in the way of her attack.

"KYLA!!!!!!!" Alex and Kalonus yelled together. Alex then canceled her attack and ran to Kyla. When she got to Kyla, she saw Kyla in a new form.

After Alex canceled her attack, she ran to Kyla's side. When she got there, she was baffled by what she saw. There stood Kyla in a goddess outfit. Kyla's been blessed by the goddess. She now has the power of the stars.

"Kyla! Why did you jump in front of my attack?" Alex asked her.

"Now is not the time to get into this. Let's finish this fight." Kyla said. Alex nodded and got into her battle stance.

We need to make this quick. Natsu and the others are on their way now, Kyla said telepathically. Alex nodded.

"Stars Impact!" Kyla chanted. Kyla's fists started to glow silver. She then rushed Nathanel and punched him. He slid back a good 10 feet.

Kyla, how can I help? Alex asked Kyla.

Hit me with any light attacks you can. Kyla said. 'Let's see, what light attacks do I have? I could use my shining stars to attack again.' Alex thought.

"MEMORY-MAKE: NIGHT OF SHINING STARS!

"MEMORY-MAKE: LIGHT DRAGON'S ROAR!" Alex then focused her attacks on both Kyla and Nathanel. Kyla just absorbed both of her attacks, but Nathanel wasn't so lucky. Nathanel was on the ground, unconscious. It looks like the girls win. Just as they finished the fight, Alex heard Gray call her name. She looked around frantically. Before she could run towards where she heard Gray, Okzar grabbed her. She struggled to get away from him, but that just resulted in him grabbing her tighter.

"Let me go! Shouldn't you be looking after your son?!?" Alex shrieked.

"What son? I have no son." Okzar said. 'What? Nathanel's his son, right? Whatever, I just have to get to Gray. I haven't been at full power since I've been away from him.' It must be a side effect of their quest. Alex fought Okzar all she could, but she still couldn't get away from him.

"GRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!" Alex screamed, knowing someone would hear her. If Gray didn't, then one of the dragonslayers would. Okzar covered her mouth with his hand. She bit down really hard, and the metallic taste of blood filled her mouth. It must be Okzar's, because after she bit him, he uncovered her mouth, screaming names at her.

"Kalonus! Take this one to the dungeon and make sure no one can hear her yell." Okzar demanded. Kalonus came over and led her back to the dungeon they were in.

"Kal, please, let me go. I can make a copy of myself. I just have to get to my friends." Alex pleaded. Kalonus didn't budge.

"I can't, Alex. If I disobey him, he will kill me. I'm sorry." Kalonus said. They then continued to go further down until they reached the lowest level of the dungeon. He then put her in the cell farthest from the door. She was still pleading with him to let her go. His answer remained the same.

Finally, she caved. She understood that he didn't want to die here.

"Fine. When my friends get here, there will be the three people who were with Ky and me when you captured us, but there will also be a little man with white hair. Go to him and tell him what I'm about to tell you. 'Kay?" Alex said. Kalonus nodded. "Tell him, 'Alex says Ur's finally chosen a side. Follow the crystals to find her.'" Kalonus nodded again and finished locking the cell door. He then walked back up to the main floor.

When Natsu and Lucy came back and told Erza and Gray what was going on, Gray was furious. Since Alex came to the guild, he's kind of come to like her more than a friend. Just don't tell Juvia. They then went back to the guild and told the Master what happened. Gramps hatched a plan with the First Master, and they rallied up a team and set out to retrieve Alex and Kyla.

When Master Mavis came back to them after retrieving information from Alex and Kyla, they got on a train. It took 3 days to get to Twisted Angel. When they got to the city it was in, they noticed there wasn't anyone around. Natsu then heard a commotion in the east field. Gray ran to find out what it was. He then heard Alex cast a memory-make spell.

"ALEX!" Gray called. He then heard her call out his name. When he got through the crowd, he saw a man who looked like Kyla pulling Alex away. He tried to fight his way to her, but there were a bunch of people in his way. He started to send attacks to people. He had to get to Alex. He then started throwing more powerful attacks. He was still screaming her name. Suddenly, he felt a pain in his chest. Gray had ceased all movement. Then he screamed out in pain. He was on his knees, clutching his hands to his chest. Before he blacked out, he could hear Natsu and the others running up behind him.
