Chapter 17

He walked really fast and started his bike.. He didn't know when he reached his home.. He just walked inside ignoring Raphael greeting him… His eyes filled with tears.. Raphael was asking him again and again but he didn't get his answers . He was impatient like what Alec said to magnus..??Did Magnus tell the truth or not?? He has no clue what happened??..

 Magnus went straight to the bathroom on the way he saw madzie was sleeping peacefully in their bed.. He locked the bathroom inside and stood under the shower crying his eyes out… He Was cursing himself that he is such a bad person… He can't keep doing this to alec.. Alec was so pure he didn't dare to tell the truth, he couldn't actually . 

"why is it so hard??" he cried and punched his hand on the wall… "I am sorry alec.. I am sorry" he repeated those words which made Raphael understand that something would have happened otherwise Magnus wouldn't cry this much.. So he didn't want to ask him anything, and hurt him more, he didn't even want to knock on the bathroom door … he was standing outside the bathroom door leaning on the door listening to magnus who was blaming himself for everything happening with him and alec… 

Raphael knows he can't do anything to fix it other than standing by his side.. He decided to not ask about it until Magnus wanted to talk to him about it.. So he left Magnus's room after a few minutes, not before tugging madzie under the blanket  … 

After an hour.. Magnus came out all dressed up and he slept next to madzie, curling around and hugging her tight.. Time passed but his eyes never got dry… The kiss, the touch and the way Alec talking romantically with him made him go weak and he started to cry even more.. He made his decision that he is not gonna see Alec anymore. He knows it's gonna hurt like hell but if that is good for Alec then he can take it…… 

He was working in the hospital laboratory as usual.. He drops and picks up Madzie from school like always . He goes back to home and watches tv with Raphael and madzie and gets Back to sleep .. Everything happening as systematized.. But his life is not as happy as before . Something is missing in his life..He doesn't find any reason to smile, any reason to dress up  to look good  or any reason to talk unnecessarily. He lives like a machine.. Madzie often asked what was wrong with him but he managed to answer her with  his own sarcasm and made her smile. He hid his pain from everyone … he wouldn't realize alec would have this much effect on him… 

He sees Alec's text and calls through notification every day and night but he doesn't respond to anything.. In the middle of the night he looks at his phone and Alec's text.. He wishes  things would be different if he  met Alec in another way, not as this guilty spying magnus…it hurts not to talk with Alec . His teasing,mocking, touching, that annoyed face he made everytime Magnus said something and his eyes rolling everything.. He misses kissing him a lot, he got used to that lately even if it's a short period of time. If one good thing that happens in the past 2 days of distancing then it's the weight in his chest is gone.. He didn't feel guilty anymore… he thought it's better for Alec and he will be fine in a few days because he has Pedro and etc etc.. But he didn't know the other person was losing his mind every single minute… 

ALEC POV 

It's been a Day magnus left .. Alec wanted to talk to Magnus but he didn't dare to make a call or text him.. He was restless that whole night.. The morning wasn't a good one either … He Was stuck with some dealers meeting… he couldn't concentrate on anything…he came back to the tower house by afternoon, he tried to get some sleep but the whole living room and kitchen smelled like magnus and reminded him of that one person who ran away from him … he waited till evening, he wanted to clear things with magnus. He wanted to explain he didn't Mean to rush .. The evening turned out to be night but Magnus didn't show up.. The bar counter looks empty without magnus only Elenore was there.. When Alec asked about Magnus to her.. She said she had no idea.. So Alec called him immediately that night but he couldn't talk to magnus.. He is not taking Alec's call… Alec was disturbed and upset about it…. He Asked Izzy to call Magnus from her phone but Magnus is not taking Izzy's call either.. Alec waited for the whole night, he has this blind faith that Magnus will reply to his texts and calls soon but all he gets in return Is a  disappointment…
