Chapter 21

"Do you like it?" he asked while taking the plate from Alec's hand… 

Alec : scrumptious !! (he walked towards the sink following magnus while Licking the fork spoon.. )

Magnus smiled and started to wash the dishes.. 

"mm… we have helpers to do that '' Alec stopped Magnus from doing the dishes but Magnus smiled and continued with his work… 

Magnus : It's not a big deal..(he smiled happily) In our apartment me and raphael take turns and do it together on a regular basis,(he said) while talking about our work stuff…(and he added while doing the dishes) 

Alec smiled lightly on hearing that….he just sat on the top of the kitchen counter next to the sink and lost in thoughts . 

"you alright??" Magnus asked in between.. Because Alec's smile didn't reach his eyes. 

Alec : all good.. (he smiled) it's just a thought.. That Raphael can be with you whenever he wants and I can't… (he smiled lightly again) … 

Magnus smiled and washed his hand.. He wiped it in a towel nearer … "I wish I could have you next to me all the time" Alec mumbled while staring at the floor, he started to think life would be stressless if magnus was next to him .. 

Magnus smiled and cupped Alec's face.. He could understand what Alec actually meant.. He felt the same sometimes. It's not that it's the beginning of the relationship, it's true they crave for each other's presence all the time.. 

Magnus : I know what you meant alec.. as I said to you Raphael wouldn't be here if it's not for me or madzie …so i have to go home for him and madzie.. 

Alec :I know (he held Magnus's hand) it's just me being stupid again(he giggled his emotions out) 

Magnus :no you aren't.. (he said caressing alec's cheeks) Just give me sometime…. Hmm?? (he asked and Alec nodded with his eyes closed and his lips curled up with a smile.. Magnus tip-toed for a kiss which Alec couldn't resist..) 

Alec pulled him closer and locked his legs around Magnus's waist…the kiss wasn't intense it's somehow soft and slow and sweet, like I love you kinda kiss not that I want you kinda kiss… "Damn I love to kiss you all day" Alec smiled between the kiss.. "I could say the same but I have to pick up madzie now" Magnus said and  broke the kiss when he noticed the time .. 

Magnus : hmmm… I am sorry…I have to go (he said with a apologetic smile) 

Alec : Let me send Izzy or Simon to pick her up!! (he said because magnus already look tired) 

Magnus : No… (he said all of sudden.. Alec looked at him confusingly) I mean.. It's always me who drops and picks her up everyday from the school , that's why (he said and about to grab his bag) 

Alec : or is that because we are mafia and you don't want to involve madzie ?? (he asked frowning a little, those thoughts definitely hurts alec ) 

Magnus : what?? No… (he walks back to Alec and grabs his shirt just belows his collar ..) why do you even think like that?? (he asked in disbelief but Alec's face is still the same, he just shrugged out in return ) look!! I don't have many more relatives or friends .. There are one or two in that list and I always think that one or two people are my responsibility likewise Madzie is my responsibility and she is my sister.. I have no other important work than taking care of her and I love to do that.. I am not ready to run away from those responsibilities.. (he explained it clearly, alec could understand his side of logic ) 

Alec : hmmm(he hummed with a smile, Magnus was not happy with that Humm he wanted Alec to talk and sort it out ) am I in that list? (he continued which mad magnus smiles wide)
