Chapter 18

"no. No. No.." he ran to Alec and kneeled on the ground with one leg folded enough to support Alec's back with his knee and thigh .. He made him sit upright.. 

"wake up… WaKe up.. We aren't done.. I have to say you have to hear me.. Look at me.." he patted Alec's cheeks with one hand and pressed Alec's chest where the blood was oozing out uncontrollably .. Magnus pressed tight while giving pressure on the bullet shot wound  to stop bleeding and patted Alec's cheeks repeatedly.. Who coughed out and looked at Magnus.. 

Magnus didn't notice how irregular his breath was until he saw Alec  open his eyes  and look at him.. "Stay with me!!" Magnus' shaky breath made Alec smile.. Before Magnus could say anything the next bullet passed by and came straight to Magnus's head but on seeing that Alec pushed magnus away, magnus fell on the ground  and the bullet got straight into the wall behind magnus.. Magnus was terrified and looked at Alec who was groaning in  pain holding his chest.. Magnus looked at Alec in disbelief even now he wanted to save magnus.. Magnus tried to carry Alec again.. But Alec protested.. 

"go.. go inside. Arghhh " Alec held his own chest and pushed Magnus away from him… because it's not safe for Magnus to stay with Alec, it's clear now they are targeting Magnus now.. Instead of obeying Alec, Magnus held him tight with His arms..  

They kept on firing, but before the next bullet could reach Alec or Magnus.. The person who was firing screamed louder and fell on the ground… 

Magnus looked to the other side where Jace kept on running towards alec while shooting them non stop… on the other side izzy ran towards alec… "Alec!!" she shouted and saw Alec closing his eyes slowly.. She looked at Magnus who  was totally terrified, he was crying his eyes out and looked helpless  … 

The group who was shooting magnus and alec ran away.. Jace looked at alec he was angry because alec came here all alone, without informing him .. He looked at Magnus and Izzy, literally Jace doesn't have time for this little get together. He just took Alec on his shoulder and carried him to the car ignoring magnus… Izzy ran to the driving seat.. Jace dropped Alec inside the car and got inside… magnus was about to get inside the car but he stopped on remembering that madzie was alone in his house. He can't leave her alone, not in this situation…. 

Izzy waited for Magnus to decide but she understood his situation and said "we got him.. Go to madzie" izzy said 

"move " Jace yelled at Izzy  while holding Alec's chest  and Izzy started her car fixing her gaze on Magnus who was standing there all helpless.. He walks back and forth even after the car leaves the place, he doesn't know whether to walk this way or the way .. He wanted to go with Alec but didn't want to leave Madzie alone. She is sleeping.. He can't be selfish anymore.. He looked at his hands which were covered with Alec's blood, all he can remember is Alec confessing to him . He wanted to be with him right now, that's how he feels.. He ran to the house still crying his eyes out. He was about to wake madzie and take her with him to the hospital or tower house, because he didn't know where they took alec, to save him.. 

He was running towards his bedroom but stopped when someone stopped him by his wrist.. 

"Magnus!!! What happened?? " " Raphael asked him and his eyes widened on seeing Magnus's t-shirt covered with blood… 

" OMG what happened?? Are you okay..?? "Raphael panicked and checked magnus everywhere.. 

Magnus: I am fine… (he hugged Raphael tight ) 

Raphael : what happened I was coming home and I heard a sound of continuous gun firing  from a distance.. What just happened? And why are you soaked in blood?? (he asked while looking at Magnus with horror filled face )
