"You're such a dork" Rodrick X Reader

Chapter 16

You fall asleep after dinner with your parents including an awkward conversation about your "date" with Connor the other night. You become aware to the sound of what seems to be light taps on your window you your eyes shoot open in the direction of your window *tap* there it is again but this time you see the sound accompanied by a small object, then again another one. You get up to investigate as you get closer to the window your curiosity diminishes seeing the source of the sound across the way in his room window wide open holding a bowl of pretzels. He throws another one hitting the window before you open it "Really Rodrick? What do you want now?" You whine tiredly bit still keeping quiet "Come over I can't sleep" he whisper yells across the way with a plain smile on his face "so? That's not my problem" you whisper yell tired annoyance building up now, he throws another pretzel this time it hitting you in the middle your forehead you roll your eyes and glare at him eyes meeting with his almost desperate ones that somehow make you melt into temptation "fine" you sigh out slowly maneuvering your way out of the window balancing yourself on the big helpful tree that connected you two. You manage to balance and stumble your way across the tree without any grace reaching Rodricks window he takes your hips and helps you in. He smiles knowing he got his way "I'm only staying for a little while, I'm not trying to join you in mom jail" "works for me we can just watch a movie" you walk over and slump down on his messy bed, trying not to get too comfortable since you aren't going to be there long, as he puts on a movie to watch, it starts and he hurries over to you jumping in close, he immediately snuggles into you laying his head on your open stomach/lap area; you're a bit taken aback by his closeness but he doesn't notice, "I put on a scary one is that alright" his voice breaks you from your thoughts you look to see him looking up at you from his spot on your body "oh yeah that's good" you stutter out with a nervous smile as you continue to stare at him "what?" He ask eyebrows furrowing now sense if something was up "oh nothing, everything's good" you instinctively comb through his hair reassuringly he smiles and lays his head back down as keep petting and playing with his hair mindlessly. 'This is nice, like really nice' you think to yourself at this point not even watching the movie that was on but just watching him melt into your touch his slow gentle breathes being the only movement on his body as he lays comfortably, before you know it he's fast asleep on you small breathy snores escaping his mouth. Seeing how comfortable he is you can't help but close your eyes and nod off yourself.

Time skip
You wake up disoriented to static quietly blaring on the tv and a weight wrapped around your body. You look down to see a completely knocked out Rodrick with his arms wrapped around your waist holding you tightly snuggling deep in your side, you look at the time 3am it's reads so you make the decision to go home before you also end up in mom jail. You slowly unravel his arms from around you as to not wake him and replace yourself with a pillow. You get up from the bed and look down at him hugging his pillow tightly lightly snoring and drooling you can't help but take a picture of him looking like this as he did the same to you. You make your way to the window opening it and letting yourself out slowly inch by inch across the branches of the big tree. You climb into your room feeling the tinge of loneliness sink in, you don't want to admit it but you miss his company, you lay in bed throwing the covers on it still feeling extra cold till you catch it, the scent of him on your pillow. You pull it closer practically burying your face in it feeling now at ease drifting comfortably to sleep with only the thought of him circling your brain.
