Mary was in the library, arranging book, when suddenly she saw a ray of light from inside the shelfs. She was attracted to the flame like a moth to a flame. She went in reach of it, and found a tall hand standing with his blond hair glowing. As the man turned she noticed he was wearing nothing, but pants. The man walked towards her. She wanted to move back or even run but her legs were frozen. The man was now closer than ever, that she could feel his breath. He leaned forward to kiss her, when she suddenly recognised the man. It was —MR WRIGHT!

"Mary!"

"Mary!" Kitty calls. "Come down for breakfast!"

"Yes!" Mary replies half awake, still shocked from the dream. Mary could not believe it. Did she have an erotic dream about Mr Wright? That Mr Wright who she despises. How can this be? Did she have any romantic feelings towards him? Was it her subconscious signalling at something? No it can't be! She dislikes him, his wit, his everything. He is handsome but she is a clever woman who cannot fall prey just by his good looks. It must be because he is the first man she had spoken for after a long time. That must mean it, she thought.

"To be a woman!" She sighted as she went down stairs for breakfast.

"Mamma, have you heard about the Merytom ball next week?" Kitty informs with excitement.

"What good timing," her mamma replies with equal enthusiasm.

"Good timing for what?" Mary inquires.

"To find you Lords, of course."

"Which Lord is going to attended the Meryton Ball?" Mary commented.

"Mr Darcy and Bingley did and they are equivalent to Lords!" Her mother countered.

"Now tell me dear, how was it at your aunts yesterday?" Mrs Bennet asks to deviate the subject.

"It was very nice, except when Mary thought Mr Wright was a thief and hit him," Kitty informs as Mary chokes on her food.

"She hit him?" Mr Bennet asks confused.

"Kitty—

"Yes she thought he was a thief and hit him with my parasol. Later we found out he was a house guest who was also doing his legal apprenticeship under our uncle," Kitty explains.

"Where is this Mr Wright from?" Mrs Bennet asks curiously.

"London," Kitty replies.

"Does he know Jane?"

"No."

"Also there is a gathering, soirée tonight at aunts," Kitty informs.

"A soirée? For what?" mrs Bennet wonders.

"To welcome Mr Wright," she says.

"Then we must go and personally apologise to him on behalf of Mary," Mrs Bennet says giggling.

"Papa, I already apologised" Mary defends herself.

The erotic dream Mary had in the morning still bothers her. She doesn't know what to make of it and now she had to face him. There was no avoiding Mr Wright, he would be there for sure and she had to face him as calmly as possible. This thought made her nervous as they boarded the carriage, reached their aunts place and then in no time she was standing staring at the door.

"Hurry up!" Kitty said as she ran in. All Mary could do is take a deep breath and hope everything would be normal, despite not knowing want normal was. She just wanted to be invisible not wanting to interact with any one.
