"Mr Ivanov?" Mary asked hesitantly.

"Yes," he said with a frown and accent.

"I am Mary," she introduced herself.

"Mary?" He said confused. "Mary Bennet?" His expressions changed to a smile.

"Yes!" Mary was relieved that she finally found him.

"Please come in!" He invited them to his house. The house was small, could be considered more of a room than house. It considered of a small bed, a stove on a table which could be considered a table and a door next to it, which should be a bathroom. Most of the place was covered with papers as an easel was located near the window.

"Are you a painter?" Mr Wright asked.

"I do not if I am but I wan to be," he said stacking his head as he gave then chairs to sit.

"How is Kitty?" He asked after everyone was settled.

"She is not in London," Mary informed him.

"I sent her a letter!"

"Yes, I have it," Mary shows.

"Mr Ivanov—

"You can call me Dominic," he says with a smile.

"Alright, Dom—I do not know you, so I rather call you Mr Ivanov," Mary explains.

"So Mr Ivanov—

"You are exactly how Kitty described you as," he says amused.

"What?"

"Yes, Kitty has told me so much about you. You are her favourite sister," he says.

"No, Lydia is," she corrects.

"No! Despite everyone thinking that, you are actually her favourite sister," he informs.

"Mr Ivanov, I actually wanted to talk to you about what happened between you and my sister," she continues trying not to get distracted. "Mr Wright, can you give us a minute?" She asks as he waits outside.

"What is your relationship with my sister?" She asked assertively.

"We were friends," he said calmly.

"That's it?" She asked wary.

"No! We were first friends then we developed feelings for each other," he continued with sadness. "Jane did not approve of it," he Informs.

"I do not want to assume things about you, but Kitty is still young and naive. I won't let you make her do anything childish and stupid that won't only destroy her life but also humiliate her family for the rest of their lives," Mary said angry.

"Love is a strange thing Mary. You overlooked everything and chase that," he said philosophically. "It is worse than drugs even."

"I do not care!" Mary said angry. "I will not disclose Kitty's location and give up on trying to reach her," she said. "It does not matter how much love you have for her but I won't let her make a stupid decision. It would be best if you forget her," she warned.

"I knew your morals wouldn't accept me," he said as Mary halted towards the door. "But I hope you learn what love is—someday," he said as Mary rushed out the door and shut it at once.

As soon as she was out she saw Mr Wright. She couldn't hold her tears in anymore, tears started running down her face.

"Mary!" Mr Wright rushed towards her. "Did you say or do anything to you?" He asked furiously.

"No, no, he did nothing," Mary said in order to avoid any misunderstandings. "I just.." Mary couldn't speak, couldn't think only cry as Mr Wright hugged her to comfort her not asking any further questions.
