It has been about thirty minutes since she left me.
"But why???" I kept asking myself.
The baby has been crying for a while now and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I think he needs his mother to feed him or something, but she gone!!!
How am I supposed to feed a baby!

I stood up from the bed I was sitting, and went towards the door opposite our bed and I turned the door knob. "Perhaps she was sitting at the balcony" I thought to myself. My heart skipped a bit when I saw she wasn't there too!
"I've looked everywhere!, what do I do now?!"
"Ohh! I could call her phone! Why didn't I think of that! "
I guess Leo's crying was distorting my thinking. I should attend to him first before calling Amy, I think that what a good father would do.

I shut the door that lead to the balcony and walked towards Leo's cradle, besides Amy's side of the bed.
His glistening eyes revealed some depth of emotions. I felt sorry for him, and I lifted him out of his cradle and carried him in my arms. He was probably hungry, it's 7am in the morning and he hadn't eaten. Normally he would suckle on his mother when he wakes up, but now she's nowhere to be found.

I hope she hasn't run away from home as she threatened in our last argument. I'll call her to find out, but I need to find food for my son first.

I was lost in thought about how to go get some infant formula or basically anything a three months old baby could eat, then I heard the sneeze of Luna, my five years old daughter. She had her own little bed, about half a meter from my side of I and Amy's bed.

Luna turned her body to face me, and then she yawned and stretched out her little arms.
"Good morning dad! Good morning mo...." she paused as she didn't see her mom. She looked around the room with questioning eyes.
"Where's mom?" She asked me as I fumbled with words.
"Umm..., she'll be back" , I said to her from opposite side of the room.
"You know what honey?" I said as I simultaneously walked to her.
"Hold on to your brother for a while and I'll go get food for us, okay?"
"Okay", she responded with a slight smile as I pecked her left cheek. I handed Leo over to her and headed for the door.
He was half asleep.

I went to the bathroom to freshen up, and then I put on a shirt and took my wallet from the room table. I headed for the door and locked the room to keep my kids safe. I left my apartment and walked to a supermarket. I didn't need to drive, because it wasn't to far.
I need to get infant food for Leo, and cereal for myself and Luna.
