Chapter eight

Tony

A slight detour into the past (one)

"Wow, congrats bro!". I said as I and Eric shook and exchanged a bro hug.

"Thanks! And congrats to you too" Eric said as he grinned at me.

"Turn around, someone else wants to congratulate you" Eric said as he waggled his brows at me.

I turned around and saw Amy, the prettiest girl in my class. I walked towards her and she was blushing. The entire class knew we had feelings for each other.

"Congratulations Tony!" She said as she looked at the floor and arranged her hair behind her left ear.

"Congratulations to you too Amy. We're finally going to be studying our dream course in the same university!". My joy knew no bounds as I hugged her tightly.

"Awwwn!!" The entire class echoed as we both laughed and made eye contact. She had the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen.

"How about we celebrate our admission? Like.... somewhere private?" She said as I gulped loudly. "My parents are out of town, I guess we can celebrate at my place", she continued as she stared deeply in my eyes.

"Sure, what time?". I didn't want to look childish, so I accepted.

"After school today. Maybe 6pm". She replied.

"Okay, I'll be there".

She smirked and walked away, my heart beating fast.

"I did it! You have no idea how hard it was for me". I told Bella.

"Congratulations Amy, you've reached my standards. You can roll with me now"

"I'm never playing 'truth or dare' with you again". I said as I heaved a sigh of relief.

"Don't forget the last part of the dare, you must send me a selfie of you lying on his chest". She said and giggled evilly.

"Okay, I will". I said.
I have no other choice. I wanted to be Bella's friend so bad. She was so cool, one of the coolest girls in our high school. She promised me if I did her dare, I could be her friend and gain popularity just like her.
If inviting Tony over to my house was the price to pay, then that's exactly what I was going to do.
