"Just as I thought, all the IC chips have been destroyed.Video cameras,digital clocks.Anything that operates with electronic circuit board isn't gonna work.".Chota says while picking up an old radio,"But old stuff like this still works, since none of it has any IC chips."."What does that mean?".Arisu asks."It might mean, an electromagnetic pulse attack.I read about this online.When inserted into the stratosphere, it's a weapon capable of destroying the electronics in the entire city."Really?".You ask.To answer your question Chota slowly nodded like you were some dumb ass kid, which you weren't you were actually top of the class until you didn't get into your dream college, and meet Rex and Tess."So, why is this still working?".Arisu asked while putting up one of the phones we used to play with the night prior.Chota sighed,"No idea.".He answered.
Arisu's pov
The phones goes dead, great."It's useless if we can't charge it.".I say while throwing the phone on the table.
TIME SKIP:
"This is so good!".Chota says while eating some canned soup that was heated up on Shibuki's portable stove."Ah, nice and hot.".Karube said."We haven't eaten anything since yesterday.".Chota says.
"Hey, what were you all doing, when everyone disappeared?".Shibuki asked."Bathroom.".I answered."We were all in the same stall.".Chota said."Hm, interesting.".Y/N said with a smirk."No, no, no, it wasn't like that.".Karube said."Sure.".Y/N said."I'm serious.".Karube said with a sigh when he seen Y/N giving him a thumbs up sarcastically."Anyways, where were you, Shibuki?".Y/N asked."I was at work.".Shibuki says after a moment,"I was in the conference room doing some paperwork.And then, everyone in the office disappeared."."Did you happen to see or hear anything all?".I asked."Not really.".Shibuki said."What about you Y/N what were you doing before everyone disappeared?".Karube asked."Uhh....I was, um.".She said."What were you doing?".I asked a little intrigued."Ok, well I was at a friends house.".She answered."Doing what?".Shibuki asked with a smirk."Doesn't matter.".She answered."Okay, well did you hear anything or see something?".I asked."No, nothing at all.".She answered.
TIME SKIP:
"We really need to get Chota to a doctor.".I said,"You know how he is, it's probably hurting him more than he what he's saying."."It's probably getting to him."Karube said,"Arisu, let's get in the game tomorrow night, with Y/N."."What?But we still have three days on our visas.".I said."Listen, it's better to get in the game while we still have time.I just don't think, Chota's gonna' be able to do if he's in that much pain.".Karube said."If the three of us can't figure out how to finish this game, we won't be able to protect Chota.".Karube said."I know but...".I trail off."Maybe we can find a doctor too.We'll meet more people if we play.".Karube said."Do we really have to play?".I asked."Yes we do but I suggest tonight instead.".Y/N says while walking over."Let's go then."Karube says while looking at Y/N."Fine let's go.".I say with a sigh.
