"Get up. We have to take you to HQ so you can start putting your stuff in Demetrius's office," V says while shaking me awake.

I sit up in my bed and rub my eyes. Memories from last night flood my mind.

I saw Taylor, my love, again.

I get out of bed and Valentino looks at me with amusement.

"Remembering your girl?" He asks with a smirk.

"Oh shut up and get out," I reply and push him out of my room.

I hear him chuckle as his footsteps begin to fade down the stairs of the house.

I pick out a simple outfit and make my way down the stairs where Demetrius, Valentino, and Enzo are waiting.

"Alright, let's go," Enzo says while walking out the door, following behind Demetrius.

I follow them and we all get into the backseats of the all black SUV.

"Are you excited, Chapo?" Demetrius asks me with a slight smile.

"I guess I am. A little bit at least," I reply while looking at the buildings we pass by.

"You'll have the whole state- no- the whole country in the palm of your hand. This is a lot to handle," He says to me.

"I'm proud of how far you've come. You stayed even after given permission to leave. I'm eternally grateful for you. Always remember, I got your back," He continues with his thick Italian accent coming through his words.

"Always remember the same," I reply back, earning a smile from Demetrius.

That smile lasted maybe 2 seconds.

"Alright we're here," Valentino says.

"Let's get this started, shall we?" Enzo says as he exits the vehicle.

"We shall," I reply and begin my walk to the front doors.

We enter the building and people immediately go quiet. Eyes stare at us in admiration, honor, and terror.

For good reason, too. I mean, the mafia that the Falcone's run are known for being unrelentingly ruthless.

Demetrius doesn't let his lips go pull up to form any type of smile in anyway. Indicating he wants us to do the exact same thing.

I stare straight ahead and don't look at anyone as we go to the elevator with Demetrius's name engraved in it.

We walk in as a guy tries to join us. He must not know who we are.

He tries to walk into the elevator but Valentino stops him. V looks at the guy with a straight face and angry eyes.

The guy looks up and slowly backs away.

The elevator doors close and we make our way up to the top floor.

"He really thought he was about to join Falcone's and Capone's on the elevator," V says with a chuckle.
