I look down at my nails and stare up at the hotel Taylor is staying in through the backseat window of the SUV.

"You ready to pick your girl up?" V says jokingly from the seat to my left.

"I'm always ready," I reply, masking the nervousness in my voice.

I huff as I exit the car and walk in with V following.

We ride the elevator up to her floor and I feel the anxiety rising in my chest the closer we get. I'm so nervous.

The elevator dings and we step out onto her floor. We walk to her door and I raise my hand to knock.

Then I bring my hand back down to my tie and loosen it.

"It's hot in here, isn't it?" I question V, knowing that it's not.

"Nah. You're just nervous," He chuckles as he watches me.

I stare at the door intensely for a few seconds before V takes matters into his own hands and knocks for me.

I side eye him.

"What? You were taking too long," He responds.

I open up my mouth to respond but I'm interrupted by the sound of the doorknob being turned. Then I'm met with the most beautiful sight.

Taylor is wearing a red dress that hugs her figure perfectly.

I'm in awe as I stare at her. I lose every word I've ever thought of to say in my life.

"Wow. You look- wow," I say stuttering over my words like a fool.

She giggles and just walks out of her room to join us outside.

"You don't look so bad yourself," She says as she stands beside me.

"Thank you," I nod at her with an appreciative smile.

I'm wearing an all black 3 piece suit.

"Since we're here, Taylor, is Katie around?" V asks with a smirk.

"No. She's out doing whatever," Taylor responds, giving V a questioning gaze.

"Damnit," V silently says to himself and begins to walk towards the elevator.

"Guess we better follow him," I say with a small laugh and gesture towards him.

Taylor nods as we follow him and go back down to the lobby of the hotel.

We get to the SUV and one of my bodyguards opens the door for us.

"Thank you," Taylor says with a polite smile.

I get in behind her and just nod at the guy with a small smile.

We're like two different people.

"So, what's this meeting for?" Taylor asks while looking at me.

"Well, since Adrian recently became the Boss, they're gonna ask her questions and shit like that. They're gonna grill her really bad because she's not a Falcone," Valentino speaks up.
