Adrian

I jolt my head up in my bed in a panic as I feel my heart rate rising. I look around my room and see Tago laying on the end of my bed sound asleep.

I look at the digital clock on my nightstand and see that it's 3AM. Fucking nightmares.

I move to sit on the side of my bed with my feet hitting the cold floor.

My eyes adjust to the darkness of my room and I steady my breathing by the second.

I need to go calm down.

"Tago, wanna go for a ride, boy?" I whisper to him as I softly pat his head.

His ears raise at the sound of his name and he swiftly jumps off the bed. I turn to my closet and grab a hoodie with my shoes and walk out of my room.

Tago's clicking of his paws hitting the floor follow me out to my car.

I open up the passenger side door and he hops in easily, "Good boy Tago."

I walk over to the driver side of my Ferrari and hop in.

I give the engine a rev and start the drive through the city. I think I'm going to go to my spot.

It's a cliffside view that overlooks the city and it's beautiful. Tago loves it.

All of the city lights and the breeze hitting is just perfect.

"You want some music, pretty boy?" I ask Tago while petting him.

He just sticks his head out of his window and pays me no mind.

"I'll take that as a yes," I say with a smile as I go through my phone and choose a playlist to play.

I decide to play some Sleeping At Last to calm my nerves a bit. They're very underrated.

I turn it up as the wind blows through my hair and there's almost no traffic. It's so aesthetically pleasing.

I drive up this hill and make it the cliffside view where I park my car. Tago wastes no time and jumps out.

I let my music play through my car speakers as Tago and I admire the view in front of us.

"This is nice," I whisper to myself with a small smile plastered on my face.

Tago just looks out at the city. He's admiring it too, I assume.

Our moment of silence and comfort is interrupted by the sound of tires pulling up.

I instantly turn around and see a car i don't recognize.

I look at the car and wait for someone to get out of the car. Who else knows about this place?

I wait for a few seconds then the front door opens and I see a tired looking Taylor step out of the vehicle.

"Taylor?" I say in a questioning tone.

"Yup. It's me," She replies in a monotone voice.

"What are you doing here? It's like 3AM," I say to her worriedly.
