"I don't think we need backup." I say to Travis after scanning our surroundings.

"I think we do." Travis snaps back. I roll my eyes and walked hunched over staying near the ground. Travis reluctantly follows as I walk along the tress heading to the back of the temple. We slow down when we get to the side of the temple. We get as close as we can to the back but not too close because of the open space. I see two trebuchets and I really want to try to use one.

"Don't. You'll get shot as soon as you leave the bush." Travis says noticing me looking at the trebuchets.

"I wasn't going to. I'm just looking." I respond. "Have any ideas?" I ask.

"Call for backup." Travis says immediately.

"No, stop it." I answer. "Okay see that?" I point to the closest trebuchet. "I can go use the trebuchet as a distraction while you go to the front and get the amulet." I explain to him.

"That is a part of a plan. Also you just want to use the trebuchet." He says bitterly.

"Well let me try again your bitterness." I snap back at him. "I got to the trebuchet and start creating chaos. When all the guys are coming after me you have a shot to get the amulet." I explain.

"Do that and you will be shot." Travis says before he starts digging in his mini backpack. "Here it won't do much but I guess it's better than nothing." he says handing me a flare gun.

"No you take this. I have something better." I say giving him the flare gun and pulling out a small handgun out of my ankle holster.

"Where did you get that?!?" Travis says confused and tense.

"Your backpack." I answer which makes him more confused and worried. Which is funny to watch.

I got the pistol from the hanger and hid it in his backpack because I wasn't wearing my ankle holster. When we were flying I got both holster and gun then put them on when Travis was checking the auto pilot.

"Now come on. Let's get the amulet." I say with a smile.

"Really I'm getting the amulet. You are just causing chaos." Travis remarks. I roll my eyes then hand for the trebuchet. I turn to see Travis getting close to where he can get to the front without notice.

I sneak in the bush that leans on the trebuchet and stand hunched on the platform where the rock is. I hold up the pistol ready to fire. I go over to the counter weight and try to check to make sure there is indeed weight in it. Thankfully there is and the pin is secure. I grab the rope connected to the pin and go back into the bush. I put the pistol down and take the rope with both hands. I slowly pull until it will take just one yank for it to shoot. Finally I am able to give the finally pull. I pull it, throwing myself to the ground landing on my back. I grab the pistol and freeze. Chaos erupts, I look up to see the rock landed in a large group.

I sneak back in the bushes Travis and I were in before. I then head back to the front, armed men running to the back. Before I am able to get to the front Travis leaps into the bushes.

"Travis!" I whisper shout when I get close. He panics and turns my direction.

"Oh thank goodness. It's just you." Travis says relieved.

"Did you get it?" I ask. Travis nods and holds up the amulet. I smile widely.

"We did it!" I say.

"Yeah, now let's get out of here!" Travis says. I nod and we start for the car.
