I fell asleep on the way to the car, and slept on the car ride to the airport.

"Hey there sleepy head." Travis says sweetly.

"What?" I ask still have asleep.

"We are here. And I got the tickets. The people were thrilled when I asked. Our flight is in eighteen minutes." Travis says.

"Okay." I say. I get up and we get our stuff. We head into the airport. We sit and wait to board the plane. I lean on Travis still waking up from my nap. The time passes and we board the plane. Travis puts our bags above us in the compartment. The flight is peaceful. We watch a couple movies and Travis takes a nap.

When we land we rent a car and Travis drives.

"I've got this friend who can protect the amulet." Travis says.

"Okay. We can stop there. It would be better if someone had the amulet while the Organization is fuming at us." I say. Travis laughs and I laugh with him.

"You're right." Travis says. At the stoplight he grabs his phone and changes the directions. "It will take about twenty minutes to get there." Travis says.

"Sounds good." I say. We talk during the ride there. I turn the radio on and look around. The buildings the trees. We even pass the Statue of Liberty. Twenty minutes of conversation, music and landscape pass by. Then we arrive at a house in a quaint neighborhood. Travis parks into the driveway and gets out.

"You coming?" Travis asks.

"Yep, coming." I say opening my door and Travis closes his. I run up to Travis after I close my door. He rings the doorbell then turns to me.

"Got the amulet?" Travis asks. I pat my pocket where the amulet is.

"Yep." I answer. The door opens and a young black man with protective glasses, pj pants, a normal shirt, and a lab coat opens the door.

"Travis! What are you doing here?" he says. He then turns to me. "And who's this?" he adds.

"Hey Cameron. This is Mira, and we need a favor." Travis says. Cameron looks at both of us then behind us.

"Come in." he says. We go in and closes and locks the door. Unlike how he dresses his house is clean and looks lived in.

"Follow me." Cameron says. We follow him to the basement. Pictures are on the walls. People who must be his family. There's also pictures of him with someone who I guess is his lover. They look really happy, and chaotic. In the basement are tables covered in science stuff. The wall covered in papers, posters, post it notes, and string. He grabs three chairs and puts them near a wall not close to any on the tables.

"Sorry some of this stuff is unsafe. Also if Michael knew you were here he'd flip." He says pointing at Travis.

"It was one time! I did know they would raid your house!" Travis defends himself.

"For Michael that was one time too many." Cameron says. "Now-"He sits down. "What do you need?" Cameron asks. Travis and I sit down. He then nods to me. I pull out the amulet from my pants pocket.

"You have people who deal with stolen stuff. Returning it without anybody noticing, right?" Travis starts. Cameron looks at the amulet.

"My house gets raided again I'm sending Michael after you." Cameron starts. "I can do it. It will take longer than it used to. I haven't done this in a long time." Cameron says. He stands up. "Wait here." He says and goes upstairs.

"What does he do?" I ask.

"He's a scientist. Part time for the Organization. He owns his own lab, this stuff is for the Organization." Travis explains.

"How did you meet him?" I ask.

"So full of questions. I tested some of his stuff." Travis says and pulls up his sleeve revealing a chemical burn. "Nobody else wanted to help him because some of his experiments were dangerous. I wasn't afraid, plus it got me out of training." Travis says with a big smile. I laugh.

"Training was that bad?" I ask. Travis laughs.

"According to sixteen year old me. Yes." Travis says continuing to laugh. Cameron comes down.

"What are you guys laughing about?" he asks. He sees Travis's arm and doesn't look at him. Travis covers his arm again.

"Um here put the amulet in the box." Cameron says handing me the box. I take the box and put the amulet in. Cameron reaches for the box but Travis grabs it.

"Will you ever forget about it?" Travis asks. "I forgave you. And I have not taken it back." Travis says.

"You're still scarred." Cameron say not looking up at him. I lean and whisper in Travis's ear. He nods and I grab his scarred arm which was on my side. I push up his sleeve and kiss the scar.

"I think it's cool." I say still holding his arm. Even though Travis said I could yet he still looks speechless. I don't mess with his sleeve leaving the scar showing.

"Here's the box." Travis says his voice shakes. Cameron smiles and takes the box. He looks between us then stands.

"I'll be right back. I have to contact my friends and put this in a safe place." Cameron says then leaves.

"What the plan after this?" I ask.

"I should be asking you that." Travis responds.

"Are you sure that was okay?" I ask.

"Yes." Travis says with no hesitation. "Mira." He starts.

"Yes?" I respond.

"You're pretty cool. And I like you." Travis says.

"Oh thank goodness." I sigh.

"What do you mean that?" Travis asks.

"I like you too." I say. We both stay quiet.

"Can I kiss you?" Travis asks. I think I blushed at that.

"Yes." I answer. And he does.

I don't know the next step. But I know Travis will be by my side for it.
