15 - a body begging for help

A few days passed without Woo's father bugging him with extra tasks. It was Tuesday afternoon and Woo had just came back to the gym after a fight. He went to his training room to eat lunch. When the alpha entered the room, he saw a lunch box on the table. It wasn't his though. Woo went closer to the table and saw a blue bento box. There was a sticky note on it that had small neat handwriting.

'Thank you for working so hard, you deserve a delicious home-cooked meal.' - Yoona ♡

Woo raised a brow and set the note down on the bento box. He pushed the bento box aside without opening it and went to the fridge. The wolf took out the lunchbox the omega had prepared for him. Woo opened the bigger box to see bibimbap inside. The small boxes had Korean side dishes for him to eat. From his recently packed meals, Woo noticed that Zaire knew how to cook recipes from various cultures. The alpha heated the food and the delicious smell made his stomach growl.

Woo set everything on the table and sat down to eat. The alpha ate with a content heart. Every bite he took, the more the delicious taste of the bibimbap erupted in his mouth. The more Woo ate, the more he felt his nerves calm down from his fight earlier. He was halfway through his meal when his phone rang. Woo saw Liam's name and picked up the call.

'Hello.'

'Woo, how are you?'

'I'm good, I'm at the gym right now.'

'How is Zaire?'

'Good.'

'I was a bit worried because he hasn't contacted me. I miss him so much, even Jonathan has been asking about him. Can we have a sleepover at your house tonight?'

'Liam, you don't need my permission.'

Woo told his best friend. The group was used to having sleepovers together at each other's place. Why was Liam hesitating and asking now? The doors of his house were always open for them.

'Then tonight, we'll watch a movie and eat out. Is that okay?'

'Whatever sounds good to you guys.'

'I'm heading over to your house. Joon is coming later with Jonathan. I'll see you later.'

'Alright.'

Liam hung up quickly and Woo could hear how happy the vampire was from his tone. The blond vampire seemed to cherish the omega and Zaire also looked most comfortable to be with him. Not wanting Zaire to panic, Woo decided to call the omega and let him know that the others were coming over. The phone rang twice before it was picked up. A sweet voice greeted Woo and he ignored his racing heart.

'Hello?'

'Omega.'

'Y-Yes?'

'The others are coming over for a sleepover tonight. Don't cook in the evening, we'll eat out.'

'O-Okay.'

Woo wanted to hang up the phone but he couldn't bring himself to do it. Part of him wanted to hear the omega's voice more but the alpha didn't know what to say. He hung up the call and set his phone down. The alpha went back to eating as thoughts of Zaire filled his mind.

Time passed fast and when Woo left the gym to go home for the day, someone slipped into his training room again. Yoona entered with a racing heart, eager to know if Woo had tasted her food. Her smile turned into a frown when she saw the bento box pushed aside on the table. She opened it and saw that not even one bite had been taken. She clutched the bento box against her chest as tears fell from her eyes.
