"Woo, what's your task?"
The air was cold as Woo and Jonathan sat in a rented black vehicle in the middle of the night. The alpha had sneaked out of bed around eleven when he was sure that the omega was deep asleep. Before leaving his house, Woo had walked around the whole area, checking the surroundings before leaving.
"He wants me to batter one of his rival's shops." Woo replied.
"Woo, how long will you keep doing things like this?" The vampire asked and Woo kept scrolling through his phone. Jonathan knew that Woo's father was rich enough to send other men to do dirty jobs like this but this was the way he tortured his son anytime he disobeyed his word. He knew the wolf had no choice but to complete the tasks he was given, to keep his mother safe. "I want you to think of your future. How long will you keep fighting for those who aren't worth it?"
"Why do you guys follow me in these things?" The wolf asked and the black-haired vampire sighed. Woo's friends had always followed him in the tasks his father forced on him, no matter how much he told them not to.
"Because we care about you, Woo. I saw you get hurt badly before and it's not going to happen again. Joon, Liam, me, we love you a lot. It doesn't matter if you need protection or not, we'll always be right by your side." The vampire declared and the alpha remained silent. Deep inside, he hated that his friends joined him in things like this because he didn't want them to get hurt. The group didn't listen to him though, so all Woo could do was protect them quietly.
Woo and Jonathan got out of the vehicle. They were both dressed in black outfits, and all of their tattoos were covered up. There were black ski masks on their faces and baseball bats in their hands. The alpha's gloved hand pulled out his phone and he held up the picture of a shop. Jonathan nodded and they looked at the liquor shop in front of them. The streets were quiet, not a single shop open. There were no signs of people either.
After a nod from Jonathan, Woo broke the heavy lock with his gloved hand and they entered. The alpha smashed all the visible cameras first, keeping the lights off. The two nodded at each other and began to hit everything. The baseball bats broke expensive bottles of alcohol. As the vampire went to break the glass counters, the wolf swung his bat against the glass walls of the shop. A few alarms began to ring loudly, beeping in their ears as they continued to thrash the place. They didn't stay for more than five minutes, working efficiently. The sound of police sirens could be heard in the distance as Woo drove out of the street with Jonathan in the passenger seat. The alpha drove back to his father's warehouse calmly, not afraid of getting caught. No one was dumb enough to get on the Park's bad side. For any task his father assigned to Woo, the evidence was erased instantly.
After switching vehicles, Woo dropped Jonathan off at his house. When the alpha arrived home, he scanned the whole place one more time before going upstairs. The wolf opened the door to his bedroom to see the omega fast asleep with Katana lying next to him. He was dressed in one of Woo's long-sleeved t-shirts, which was too big on his smaller frame. Woo looked at the clock in the room to see that it was half past twelve. The older man went to his walk-in closet and took off his jacket and pants. He wore a pair of black joggers and threw the other clothes into the laundry bin set near the closet door. The wolf walked out and went to wash his face and hands. When he returned from the bathroom, Katana had left the bed and was now fast asleep on the floor.
Woo climbed into bed and laid down on his side, facing Zaire. He watched the smaller wolf who whined in his sleep. The alpha watched as Zaire inched closer in his sleep until he reached him. Woo watched as Zaire reached out and placed an arm on his chest. Unconsciously, the omega cuddled closer until he was in Woo's embrace. The taller man tried to move away but a whine from Zaire's lips made him freeze. The wolf sighed and laid still as Zaire slept against him.
