Chapter 1: Awake

The pain in my head consumes me but like it started, it was over. All I see is white. I look down and see I am in a long, simple, white dress and white flats. I am in a beautiful garden that is next to a river and- all I see is white. Pain shoots through me. I stay in the whiteness and then I fade back to the garden. There is a long bridge over the river and th- all I see it white- no I see blur. Faces and mask hover over me. There is a woman crying, a man smiling, and people with white masks that cover their mouths wearing blue gloves. I hear mumbling.

"Milly? Milly can you hear me?" I eyes flutter and the blurs go away. I see David, Melissia, Dr. Benchmark and lot of other doctors.

"Wh- Where am I?" I ask. I look down at myself and see blood. I freak myself out. I move around and start to scream, the next thing I know, I am hovering over the bed I was in. I scream again. "What am I?! What did you do to me!" I yell. The doctors rush over and help me down.

"Milly? Milly I need you to listen to me. Okay?" asks Melissia. I nod.

"Now Milly. Do you remember anything from yesterday." I try to remember but it makes my head heart. Tears roll down my cheek.

"Yes. I- I remember going to Lukes, walking to his apartment, and, and. I can't remember!" I continue crying. Melissia comforts me.

"Well, Luke, Luke lied to you."

"What?"

"He, he was an enemy operative undercover, sent to kill you."

"He, what?!"

"Milly. What I am about to tell you will surprise you but is important. Okay?" I nod.

"He did kill you." My mind is swirling.

"What? But I'm alive!" I protest. She shakes her head.

"Yes, you are because you were revived. But you, you did die." I let out a cry and notice that I was flouting again.

"Why am I flouting! What is wrong with me?!" I scream. The nurses help me down again and I keep crying.

"MIlly. To bring you back we had to take.... jarastic mesures. You have....changed."

"Changed? How?"

"Well you see....you have some, different capabilitys now."

"Like what?"

"Well... as you know, you can flout- er, fly. And you can develop telecanesis. Also, you could have the power to, turn invisible."

"Turn, powe- ah, I feel like I am in a cheesy Marval movie!"

She places her hand on my shoulder.

"I know, but it will be okay in the end. Milly, you are.... different. You have the capability to be something, extraordinary."

But I don't know if I want to be!
