"Wassup." Juno spoke, flopping down on the sofa next to Bobby, who was moping around.
"The sky." He responded sarcastically, causing her to roll her eyes.
"Haha, very funny." She let out a fake laugh, giving him a light shove.
The pair sat in a slightly awkward silence as some TV soap played in the background. It was raining yet again, meaning a moody Bobby which she wasn't prepared for.
Juno wondered if his mood had to do with the fact that the girl he was currently talking to ghosted him out of nowhere after promising to go to Inhaler's upcoming gig.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" She asked the miserable boy sulking next to her.
He shook his head, "not really." Was all he said, his attention going back to the TV.
"You don't have to be embarrassed about it, y'know?" Juno attempted to make him feel better. "Ghosting is actually very common in online dating, so don't feel like you're alone." He looked over at her which was enough for her understand that he wanted to be left alone.
"Okay, I'll stop going on about it." Juno told him, her attention also going to the TV screen.
The awkward silence returned, neither of them spoke after their brief conversation which made things 10 times worse.
Juno looked down at her phone and opened up Maeve's contact, a plan already coming to mind about the gig tonight.
