"Pops, are you sure that you'll hand me over our family business?" I asked. I never imagine myself being the CEO of our own company.

"Yes. I am. I can't give it to, Sandro. Since he'll be following my footsteps in the near future you know that." dad answered. Yes. It is Sandro who will be following him to be a politician well me never ever. But I won't say that I will never. Only my destiny could tell me If I will.

Since I graduated business course in UK, why not di ba? For now I'm not that confident. Wala rin naman akong magagawa kasi hindi naman pwede ibigay kay Vinny ang company because he doesn't have any knowledge about business and all the details in business. All he wanna do a side from computers, he is also into food. 

"Sweetheart, someone gave an invitation from the Ferreras." papalapit si mom habang hawak hawak ang isang envelope. It was really an invitation.

"O yes. It's Ferrera Farms' anniversary. I think kompadre Bart will gather all his children on that night. Kasi he let them handle those farms.

"I see. Farm ba nila ang nagsusupply ng asukal sa buong Baguio right?" wika ni Mom because she's wondering too like me. Kahit matagal na din niyang kilala ang family na yon.

"No, not only in Baguio but the whole Philippines." namangha naman ako bigla kasi andami nilang lupain dito sa Ilocos Norte like sugar cane, coco farm etc. Pop told us that the Ferreras are very wealthy and they supply basic commodities sa buong bansa.

"But I hope one of his children will expand it worldwide if not maybe in Asia." dugtong naman ni Pops while stiring his brewed coffee.

"Son, can you come with me?" napalingon ako sa kanya and he asked me kung pwede ako. Wala naman akong gagawin that day. Why not.

"Eh si mom? Hindi ba siya makakasama?" tanong ko.

"She can't kasi she has a lot of paper works to do right? Sweetheart?" tugon ni dad and he is waiting for mom's confirmation then she nod.

"Yes, I can't go son. Samahan mo na na lang Pops mo that day. Ikaw lang naman nandito sa Pinas." sagot ni Mom.

"I guess it's final. I'll go with you Pops." I confidently said.

"Pops, I need to answer the call. I'll be right back." sambit ko. Nasa event na kami. Wrong timing naman tong EX girlfriend kong tumatawag sa akin. yeah. It's Summer, she's a doctor in Canada. We broke up since our schedules won't meet, she's busy and I'm busy too. NO THIRD PARTY. We both aren't CHEATERS.

"Hello, Summer I'm in the middle of an event. What's the matter?" tanong ko pero I can't hear her on the line. I'm worried.

"Summer, Summer Evans?!" wala pa rin sumasagot. 

"Summer are you on the line with someone?" I heard from the line. Hay nako itong si Summer hindi ko alam if she does this every time.

"Ohh.. thank you for reminding me." sabi niya.

"What now Summer??? Is their another problem or is it's an accident that you tapped my number?" sunod sunod kong tanong sa kanya at napabuntong hininga na lang.

"Sorry sorry.. I did not mean it." sagot niya sa akin.

"Please for our peace of mind, Summer can you delete my contacts on your lists." mas mabuti na yung ganon kasi ayoko na siyang maistorbo pa sa trabaho niya bilang nurse and I'll do mine too.

"But--" sumingit pa siya na irerebutt niya pero hindi ko na hinayaan pa.

"No more buts, Summer..I'll go now I'm busy." usal ko at binaba ko na ang tawag.
