rin. We arrived at the party, and as we stepped out of the car, I felt a rush of excitement. The evening air was cool and refreshing, and the sounds of laughter and music filled the air.

As we stepped into the house, the vibe was buzzing with excitement and anticipation. People were rocking all sorts of outfits, from sharp suits to laid-back casual wear—I was relieved I wasn't the only one suited up.

"Ready to dive in?" Aikawa asked, and I nodded, eager to see what awaited us inside. The place felt like something straight out of a blockbuster party scene.

Once indoors, it was a full-on fiesta. Glasses clinked, laughter filled the air, and there was no shortage of cozy corners occupied by couples making out. It was cheesy in the best way possible.

"Stick with me." Aikawa said, grabbing my arm and leading the way through the sea of party animals.

The air was thick with the mingling scents of sweat, booze, and who knows what else, but thankfully, the house was big enough to let us breathe.

"Mai! You made it!" Yoru shouted, clearly on a tipsy high, balancing two drinks like a pro. "Yeah, we're here." Aikawa replied, shooting me a knowing look.

"Here ya go." Yoru offered us drinks, but we passed. "Nah, not tonight." Aikawa explained, earning a playful pout from Yoru.

"Fine!" Yoru said, her grin widening as she swayed a bit. Just then, the unmistakable sound of glass shattering interrupted the party.

"Oops! Must be the window. Be right back~" Yoru exclaimed before teetering off in the direction of the noise, leaving a trail of spilled drinks in her wake.

"Isn't this illegal? I mean, it is underage drinking." I quipped, half-serious, to Aikawa, hoping for some reassurance.

She let out a nervous chuckle, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Sure, technically. But hey, it's high school! Live a little!"

Her nonchalant response somehow managed to ease my worries, though the thought of facing my parents if they found out about this still lingered in the back of my mind like an unwelcome guest.

"Suna! You're here!" The familiar voice sliced through the cacophony, and I turned to see Atsumu and Osamu, looking surprisingly put-together amidst the party chaos.

Their presence caught me off guard—I hadn't known they were coming. "I almost didn't recognize you. Did you get a haircut or something?" Atsumu teased, eyeing me up and down with a smirk.

Suppressing a grin, I simply shook my head. "Nope, same old me." I replied, opting for brevity over banter.

"Oh, hi Aikawa. Looking stunning as always." Atsumu chimed in with a playful wink, eliciting a blush from Aikawa.
