Both looked over the counter. Eyes focused on what was outside. It was loud enough to make the place shake inside. Dobby moved behind me, clutching onto my hair and shoulder.
I slowly looked away from the two in front of me and looked at what they were. Seeing multiple boys on the ground hiding behind shelves.
I looked past them and looked out the window. I hadn't seen anything move past us yet. In a window across from us I could slightly make out a heard of spiders.
I could stay here, with the boys and maybe the spiders wouldn't know we're here. Maybe they would fight their way out of the store.
Either way I wasn't sure how they responded to me after we got out of this situation. So far, one of them was not happy to see me.
I knew just up ahead there was a breezeway leading to different stores. I could run that way. Zigzag my way past the aliens and outrun them. Then maybe the attention would be on the boys.
Either way, I didn't want to be around them. Any of them. I looked back at the two boys. The long hairs one already looking at me.
I lifted my right shoulder a little. Feeling Dobby hold on tighter. I jumped the counter leaving the two boys in shock and the others surprised there was another here.
"The fuck are you doing!" One behind the counter yelled
I jumped over a skinny boys under the window seal and looked to my left where the shooting came from.
I've seen bigger herds. The only thing I didn't like was the two large skeletal like aliens behind the spiders carrying rather large guns.
Not wanting to look any longer I took off to my right down to the breezeway. I heard the screeches behind and quickly made my way into a long hallway.
Inside were multiple store, I didn't stop running but tried to find a large store I could easily hid in. Maybe even get through a back door.
More towards the end I slide across the floor but caught my footing and went into store that was pitch black. I prayed no other people or aliens were in here.
I held my hands in front of me so I wouldn't run into anything. I tried catching my breath. I turned around and saw only a couple of spiders outside climbing the walls.
I went further into the store to where I could no longer see them, "it's okay, it's okay" I said quietly to Dobby who quietly whined as the door creaked opened.
For some reason I looked behind me. Knowing I couldn't see anything. I moved quicker only to keep bumping into things. Another clothing store I think we were in. One that was actually filled with clothes.
I got on my hands and knees thinking crawling would be better, and it was. That is until something ran across my hand.
A small noise was made out of the person who fell to the ground. I stayed frozen on all fours. Maybe they would think they tripped over something else. Not me.
They shuffled around and before I knew it a light was pointed straight at my face. I held up my hand from being blind as Dobby hid behind my head the best he could.
"Y-You're that girl"
I grabbed whatever it was closed to the ground and swung it towards the person. Knocking the light out from his hand.
I got back on my feet to run since I could see a little more than before due to the light spinning around on the floor. Only to be kicked onto my back.
Falling onto my backpack was not a good feeling. What was a worser feeling was Dobby flying off of me, "Dobby" I yelled out for
The light stopped and pointed toward the wall but giving a small reflection back. I rolled onto my stomach to go where Dobby had flew off of only to be pulled back from ankles.
