Tubes

"I was so scared, I couldn't sleep"

"Yeah right, he slept like a baby" Seungmin said causing Han to throw a pillow into his face

"I was scared Koi! I was just really tired!"

I smiled at the two as I held Dobby in my arms. Hyunjin and Felix sat on either side of me. Shoulder to shoulder. Like it was the last day I was going to be here.

Chan had dropped me off, but I was scared to stay by myself after finding out what had happened. So he radioed Dar and told him he would be calling it in early.

Dar really didn't care and Chan waited with me till the boys got back. By the time everyone got off work, they all went straight here to see how I was doing.

Now we all sat down in the living room. Blankets and snacks out as we cuddled one another.

I was happy. I got many hugs from everyone, especially Felix and Hyunjin. No one seemed to be mad or upset. More happy that I was alive and well.

Unfortunately the joking had to end due to Chan being the serious man he is and wanting to discuss on some things.

"So she held you while you were naked?" Han asked with a mouth wide open

I nodded a little embarrassed, "lucky" I heard Felix mutter earning a chuckle from Hyunjin

"That's what you got out of that?" I.N asked

"Describe the tubes a little more" Minho asked swinging an arm around Han

I thought for a moment, "I just remembered these black hoses on me. They were everywhere, my legs, arms, even on my temples"

"The tubes!" Changbin yelled making everyone jumped, "how do you guys not remember seeing those?"

"Are you going to tell us, or just sit there?" Seungmin said sarcastically

Changbin rolled his eyes, "when we went to go get Hyunjin, remember seeing people in those cocoons? Some had those black tubes attached to them just like Koi is describing"

"Oh, yeah. I do remember now" Hyunjin nodded

"Did you ever have them?" Minho asked

"No. I do remember they have a sharp in, just like a needle that sticks into the person" I shuddered at the thought of needles poking me everywhere for these things to stay attached.

"Do we know what they're for?" Everyone shook their heads at Minhos question

"Maybe it puts something in their blood stream" I.N spoke, "if you think about it, Koi's blood was green and she had a high fever. None of use can have any of those symptoms. Maybe they injected her with something"

"Am I turning into an alien!" I freaked going to stand up but to be pushed backed down by Felix and Hyunjin

I held Dobby closer to me as he just listened in on the conversation. Did he even know what we were talking about? He's just a baby. He shouldn't be here for this.

"It possible that's the reason for your memory loss"

Chan agreed, "if they were attached to your head then they most likely were sticking the needle into your brain"

"Could a needle even go past our skulls?" Han asked

"We're talking about alien technology here, anything is possible now"

I don't recall being sick before. If I had it was a small cough or nosey nose. The seasonal allergies. Nothing like they had described.

"You're starting to see your past more clearly"

I hummed looking over at Hyunjin. He shrugged looking down at his hands on his laps, "I can see what you dream sometimes when I sleep. Instead of everything being blurry, it's was clearer"

"You said you could see things while in were in the shower" Chan started, "do you remember anything while you were sick?"

I shook my head, "no. All I remember was my chest kept hurting. When Missy woke me up I knew I had a bad dream, but I don't recall what it was"

"Do you?" Chan asked Hyunjin

"Like Koi described before, it was all too blurry. I was awake while she was in the shower so I didn't experience that"

I felt bad. Hyunjin already went through so much, now he had to sleep seeing what I had to go through. I knew he hated it as much as I did.

"Did you fall asleep? While taking a shower" Minho asked me

"I don't think so. I just closed my eyes and I tried opening them but I couldn't" I stated remembering back to this morning

"You had to be under some kind of hallucination" I.N spoke, "you were experiencing something that wasn't present, yet you don't recall having control over your body"

"I could ask Missy-" I was shoot down quickly by both Chan and Changbin

Changbin sat up straighter, "she knew you were sick, Koi. Yet she lied to you saying you slept in"

"W-Why would she do that?" Felix asked

Chan shrugged, "who knows. That's why I don't trust her. We told her you were sick and she came into your house without us present"

I could tell Chan was getting mad. I don't blame him. It was weird she lied and didn't ask how I was feeling.

"Maybe she was testing her"

"What?" Chan snapped his head towards Minho

Minho sighed, "the women ask a thousand questions and we always answer in the other direction. Of course she's going to be suspicious of the new group. Koi is an easy target, no offense"

Easy target. I guess Darwin wasn't lying when he had said I was fragile. I think weak was more of a better word. Fragile made me seem like I was going to break any minute.

"Then maybe getting close with Missy isn't such a bad idea" Hyunjin said

"I hate to agree, but Koi can get intel we can't. Missy for some reason had her eye on her" Felix agreed

Chan got up to stretch his back. The poor old man was yet again stressed when he shouldn't be. This place she be a safe heaven.

"Before I got sick I had said what if we didn't know what was going on" I began making Chan stop, "what if we start new here and go on about our lives"

Everyone fell silent. I shouldn't have brought it up but I felt the need to. I felt like they were thinking too much into this.

"I get that Koi, but we can't"

I nodded at Chan and didn't speak again. I dropped the subject before it went in the wrong direction. Chan wasn't upset this time and I was happy about that.

We all hung out for a little and talked about anything but the aliens and how I was sick. I was thankful.

Everyone went back to their own places and I was left alone yet again. I stood cold in the kitchen holding Dobby in my arms.

I was tired but honestly a little scared to sleep alone, "I can't believe I'm about to do this Dobby"

Walked down the hall and held my ear up to Felix's room hearing both him and Hyunjin speaking to one another. I lightly knocked on the door waiting for an answer.

The door swung open to reveal a smirking Hyunjin, "I knew you couldn't resist us"

I rolled my eyes and turned around to go back to my room. I don't know what I was thinking. Before I could even take a step forward I was pulled into the room and the door was slammed shut.
