As the interrogation dragged on, Ayan could sense the tension in the room. Akk's usual bravado was starting to crack under the pressure, and Ayan knew it was only a matter of time before the truth came out. He leaned in closer to Akk, his voice barely above a whisper, "Tell me the truth, Akk. I can help you, but you need to be honest with me."
Akk shifted in his seat, his gaze avoiding Ayan's as he muttered, "I messed up, Ayan. I got in too deep with the wrong people." Ayan's heart sank at Akk's admission, knowing that this could spell trouble for both of them. "We can get through this together, Akk. Just trust me," Ayan reassured, his voice filled with determination.
Just then, Captain Jensen burst into the room, his face contorted with anger. "What's going on here, Ayan?" he demanded, his eyes flickering between Ayan and Akk. Ayan took a deep breath, preparing to come clean. "Captain, there's more to this than meets the eye. Akk is involved in something bigger than we thought," he confessed, bracing himself for the consequences.
Captain Jensen's expression darkened as he processed Ayan's words. "I should have known better than to trust you two," he muttered under his breath. Turning to Akk, he barked, "You're in serious trouble, son. You have one chance to make things right." Akk nodded solemnly, realizing the gravity of the situation.
As the interrogation came to an end, Ayan and Akk shared a knowing glance. Despite the challenges ahead, they were determined to face them together. Ayan squeezed Akk's hand, a silent promise of their unbreakable bond. No matter what the future held, they would navigate the dangers ahead as partners in crime and in love.
