In the days that passed, San and Ray exchanged messages and they were slowly getting to know each other so much better that it helped San open up more.
Ray - Hey, San Do you want to meet up?
San - Are you asking me out on a date?
Ray - Yes, so do you want me to take you out.
San - Yeah, Okay.
Ray - Does tomorrow sound alright with you, I'll pick you up, say 10am.
San - Yeah, sure see you then.
.
By the next day Ray was already and headed to San's place to pick him up. Once Ray got to see San the first thing he said was, "Damn you're gorgeous." which put a smile on San's face.
Ray had everything sorted, from their lunch, to just strolling and talking and then sitting on a bench in the park and watching the sunset.
San - Lunch was amazing thank you.
Ray paid for their lunch and San wanted to pay his half but Ray wouldn't let him.
Ray - Should we just walk around a bit to see where we end up.
San - Yeah okay, I'd love that.
So San and Ray strolled around town for a while and Ray wanted to hold San's hand so badly but he didn't want to scare San away so quickly as they were only just getting to know each other.
San turns around to Ray and says, "Are you okay?" And Ray just nods but then San knew he wanted something, he looked down to Ray's hand and reached out with his own and slowly grabbed Ray's hand and he intertwined his fingers with Ray and when San looked up Ray looked surprised but happy. They walked around for a while until they came to a park bench and they sat down together and talked about anything to watch time pass.
By the time they were immersed in their conversation they hadn't noticed that it was coming to the end of the day as the sun had been slowly fading away with the hues of Red and Orange. San looked up from Ray's eyes and saw that the sun was starting to set and as they sat there in the beautiful orange and red sky, and as they did so they held hands, with smiles plastered on their faces.
After the sunset, Ray walked San home and was going to go home from there after making sure San got inside alright but when they got to San's place, he was invited in to stay the night and so Ray stayed the night with San which also gave them a longer time to get to know each other, and better yet, Payu and Prapai weren't home.
