As Vegas rushed into his home, his heart dropped at the sight before him. Pete, his husband of 5 years, was lying on the ground in a pool of his own blood. Vegas felt his heart race as he ran to Pete's side, panic setting in.
"Oh my God, Pete! What happened?" Vegas cried out, his voice trembling with fear.
Pete's eyes fluttered open, his breathing labored and weak. "Vegas...I...I was shot," Pete gasped, his words barely audible.
Vegas felt a surge of anger and fear coursing through him. "Who did this to you?" he demanded, his voice filled with rage.
Pete shook his head weakly. "I...I don't know. They...they came out of nowhere," he managed to say before his eyes closed and he fell unconscious.
Vegas quickly reached for his phone, dialing 911 as he tried to stem the bleeding from Pete's wound. Tears filled his eyes as he begged for help, the sound of sirens wailing in the distance.
As the paramedics rushed in and began to stabilize Pete, Vegas felt a wave of relief wash over him. But his fear remained, as he knew that someone had targeted his husband, someone who wanted to hurt them.
As Pete was taken to the hospital, Vegas vowed to find out who was responsible for this heinous act. He would not rest until justice was served, and he and Pete could once again live in peace.
But as he stared at Pete's pale face, he knew that their lives would never be the same. The bond they shared had been tested, but Vegas was determined to fight for their love and their future together, no matter what obstacles lay ahead.
