Pat speaks up, "Pran, do you think we'd be soulmates in every universe?"
"You think we are soulmates, Pat?" Pran questions.
Pat's voice is soft and vulnerable as he looks up at Pran, their hands intertwined. Pran's tone is equally as gentle, but tinged with sadness. They are sitting on a bench in the park they used to frequent, the autumn leaves falling around them.
Pat nods, a small smile playing on his lips.
"I do. I've never felt this way about anyone else. It's like we were meant to be together, always."
Pran's expression suddenly turns grave, his grip on Pat's hand tightening. "But fate had other plans, didn't it?" he says bitterly, his voice cracking with emotion.
Pat's eyes fill with tears as he nods. "Yes. And I hate it. I hate that we were torn apart by something as cruel as fate."
They both fall silent, their hearts heavy with the memories of the past. Of the time they spent together, the love they shared, and the plans they made. But life had other plans, and they were forced to part ways.
"Do you remember the first time we met?" Pat asks, breaking the silence.
Pran chuckles softly, a glimmer of mischief in his eyes. "How could I forget? You spilled your coffee all over me and then tried to run away."
Pat laughs, wiping away a stray tear. "You caught me, though. And that's when I knew there was something special about you."
"And then we discovered our shared love for pizza and cheesy rom-coms," Pran adds with a fond smile.
Their laughter fades, and they both fall silent again, lost in their memories. They had been inseparable since that fateful day, their love growing stronger with each passing moment. But when Pran got a job offer in another city, they had to make a difficult choice.
"Do you regret choosing your career over us?" Pat asks, his voice barely above a whisper.
Pran looks at him, his love and regret shining in his eyes. "I regret not fighting harder for you. I regret not choosing you."
Pat leans his head on Pran's shoulder, letting out a deep sigh. "I wish things had been different. I wish we could have stayed together."They sit in silence once again, their hearts aching with the pain of lost love. But deep down, they both know that they will always be soulmates, no matter what path their lives may take. As the sun sets and the stars start to twinkle in the sky, they know it's time to say goodbye. But before they part, they make a promise to always hold onto the memories they shared together and to never forget the love they had for each other.
"Goodbye, my love," Pran whispers, pressing his lips to Pat's forehead.
"Goodbye," Pat replies, his voice choked with tears.
And as they walk away from each other, they know that their love will always be a part of them, in every universe.
"I'll never forget you," Pran calls out, his voice filled with an ache of longing.
Pat turns back, tears streaming down his face. "I'll always love you," he replies, unable to hold back his emotions.
They stand there, gazing into each other's eyes, knowing that this is not the end but a new beginning. A beginning of a life apart but filled with the memories of their love.
And as they walk away, their hands slowly slipping from each other's grasp, they know that destiny may have torn them apart, but their love will forever bind them together.
"I can't believe it's been so long since we last saw each other," Pran mused, looking through old photos of him and Pat. "I miss you more than words can express."
Pat, too, found himself reminiscing about their time together. "I still remember the sound of your laughter and the way your eyes lit up when you talked about your photography," he said softly, a wistful smile playing on his lips.
Despite the distance that separated them, their hearts remained intertwined, connected by the memories they shared and the love that had once flourished between them.
"I often wonder if you still think of me," Pran confessed, his voice laced with longing. "Do you ever look up at the stars and remember the nights we spent stargazing together?"
Pat's reply was filled with emotion. "Every day," he admitted, his eyes misting over with tears. "I carry the memory of our love with me, a beacon of light in the darkness of my days."
As they spoke, a flicker of hope ignited within them, a glimmer of possibility that maybe, just maybe, their paths would converge once more.
And so, they held onto their love, the unbreakable bond that had weathered the storms of time and distance. And in the quiet moments of the night, as they gazed up at the same moon, they whispered silent promises to each other, knowing that their love would endure, no matter the hurdles they faced.
Years passed, bringing with them new experiences, challenges, and opportunities. Pran's photography career took off, leading him to capture breathtaking images from around the world. Each photo he took held a piece of his heart, a silent dedication to the love he once shared with Pat.
Meanwhile, Pat excelled in his chosen field, becoming a respected professional known for his innovative ideas and dedication to his work. But amidst his success, there was always a lingering ache in his heart, a feeling of incompleteness without Pran by his side.
In a twist of fate, their paths crossed once again at a mutual friend's exhibition. As their eyes met across the crowded room, time seemed to stand still. The memories of their past love flooded back, igniting a spark that had never truly faded.
"I never stopped thinking about you," Pran confessed, his voice filled with raw emotion. "I've missed you every single day."
Tears welled up in Pat's eyes as he reached out to touch Pran's hand, their fingers intertwining like two halves of a whole. "I never stopped loving you," he whispered, his voice barely above a breath. "You've always been the one."
And in that moment, surrounded by the echoes of their shared past and the whispers of a hopeful future, Pran and Pat knew that destiny had brought them back together once more. This time, they vowed to hold onto each other, to cherish their love and never let go, knowing that they were meant to be together, against all odds.
Through the trials and tribulations they faced together, Pran and Pat learned the true depths of their connection. They navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship with unwavering trust, communication, and unwavering determination.
Despite the physical distance between them, their hearts beat as one, their souls intertwined in a bond that transcended time and space. They found solace in the knowledge that no matter how far apart they were, their love would always bring them back together.
As they embarked on new adventures and shared milestones in their lives, Pran and Pat never lost sight of the love that had brought them back into each other's arms. They created new memories, cherished each moment spent together, and embraced the journey of rediscovering each other in a world that had changed so much since they first met.
Together, they laughed, they cried, they dreamed, and they shared their deepest fears and aspirations. And in each other's arms, they found a sense of home, a refuge from the chaos of the world, a sanctuary where their souls could find peace.
And as the years went by, Pran and Pat stood hand in hand, a testament to the power of love and the resilience of the human heart. Through it all, they remained each other's rock, their love a beacon of hope in a world full of uncertainties, a reminder that true love knows no boundaries and transcends all obstacles. And in the end, they knew that as long as they had each other, they could weather any storm that came their way, for their love was eternal, unbreakable, and destined to last a lifetime.
