King had a crush on his coworker named Uea and Uea was just so hard to get close to as he was so closed off from everyone, the only person King knew that Uea wasn't closed off from was another coworker named Jade but it seemed that they were best friends and had been for a while, King didn't know much about Uea just that Uea was a nice guy and a guy who liked being alone, King knew from what Jade told him that Uea was so outgoing and so fun to be around, but still, every time King tried to get close to Uea, he was stopped and pushed back to the beginning of being a stranger to Uea again.

King knew that it was going to be so hard to get the trust and the closeness to Uea as he wished and he was willing to wait until that day, but when the day came it wasn't one he thought would go.

It had been a cold, windy but somewhat hot night, King and some of his coworkers including Jade and Uea went to a bar to have a few drinks, which went normal, as in getting so fucking drunk that you couldn't even see where the door was or how to get out of it. Jade knew that King wanted to be close to Yea and he suggested to King to take him home since he wasn't as drunk as Jade was. King told Mai, another co-worker, to take Jade home and Jade was so okay about it.

Jade - Uea, go home with King.

Uea being drunk, nods his head and ends up in the arms of King.

As King took Uea home that night, Uea was mumbling something incoherent and leaning heavily on King for support. King couldn't help but feel a surge of protectiveness towards the man in his arms.

"Let's get you inside, Uea," King said softly as he helped Uea up to his apartment. Once inside, King made sure Uea was comfortable before sitting down next to him on the couch.

"Thanks, King," Uea slurred, his head lolling to the side as he tried to focus on King's face. "You're a good guy."

King felt his heart skip a beat at the unexpected compliment. "You're a good guy too, Uea. You just need to let people see that side of you more often."

Uea looked at King, his eyes clear for a moment before he leaned in and pressed a kiss to King's lips. King was surprised at first, but as he returned the kiss, he felt a connection forming between them that he had never felt before.

From that drunken night onwards, King and Uea slowly but surely became closer and closer, their feelings for each other blossoming into something beautiful and real. They found love in the most unexpected of places, all thanks to a drunken night that brought them together.
