As I was just chilling by myself, scrolling through Twitter, my mind drifted off to my mama. I haven't spoken to her in weeks and I really missed her. Growing up, it has always been me, my mama and  Ash. My dad left us when I was 3 and Ashton was 2.

When I turned 7, I found out he was in jail. I wouldn't say I was mad or sum, I never cared and still don't care. Just like how he never cared about us.

When I turned 16, my mama remarried a nice guy from Arizona. He's name's Kobi. He's like a father figure to me. I also have a step-sister called Amina. She's 17 now doe.

Without any other thoughts, I FaceTime-d my mama. On the third ring, she picked up.

"Hey ma." I smiled.

"Oh so you do think about me." I said. She was busy doing something in the kitchen.

"Of course I do."

"Oh really. So why you take so long to call me? Now that you outta my house and in another state, you think you big and can't call me huh?" She mugged me.

"Damn. Sorry ma. Ion have an excuse for not callin you." I said with a yikes face.

"Is fine. So how my baby doing?" She asked.

"Uh I'm straight, an you?" I asked.

"I'm goodddd." She dragged.

"What you doin?"

"Jus cleaning. People coming over tonight so dis house need to be clean clean." She said, cleaning the counter.

"Who?" I asked frowning a little.

"Church members."

"Oh oh oh. Aight."

"And you?" She asked looking into the camera.

"Nun." I actually wasn't doing anything besides getting some rest.

"How's life going doe? Anything new?" She asked.

"Uh lemme think. Well trap shit still going on. Got sum new tats. Bought myself a lake house. Oh and Onika and I started dating." I said smiling at the thought of Onika.

"Oh wel- WAIT WHAT!" she said dropping the bottle of water.

"Huh?"

"Awwww my baby. I always knew you two had a thing for each other. How long has it been now?" She cooed.

"A month."

"Ooooooo. I'm so happy for you. You better treat her right. AND WHY YOU STILL IN THAT TRAP SHIT?!!" She yelled. My mama never liked me being in a gang. She said it was too dangerous but she learnt to accept it and supported me all the way.

"Mama, I've already told you befo. Ian leaving dis shit."

"Is fine. As long as you safe, that's all that matters." She smiled. Just as I was about to say something, Amina yelled while walking into the kitchen.

"MAMAAAAA IM HUNGRY" She yelled.

"Bitch shut the heck up. Your father sleeping." My mama said hitting Amina on the head.

"Ow, what the- oh hey big bro." she smiled. I miss this child.

"Sup sis. You good?"

"Yup and you."

"I'm straight."

"Lamar my phone gon die in like a minute. Talk to you next time okay?" My mama said.

"Aight coo. Bye" I said.
