I knocked on the door and in less than five seconds, the door opened. "You can come in." She said. "Thanks." I walked in and took a small glance around the room. It was beautiful. I saw a few pictures of Lola and her aunt and some of Lola only.

I miss her...

"Right this way." I followed her into the backyard. We sat on a table under the tree and didn't say anything for like a minute.

"What you wanna know first?" She asked as she poured me glass of whiskey. "Do you know about what happened to her mom?"

"Yea. It's sad actually because I wasn't even there to witness it. If I was, I would've done something. To stop the drugging, the rape and the murder." She said.

"Where were you, Luca or Malik?" I asked. "I was out selling drugs and didn't come home for about a month. Luca was somewhere I do not know and Malik...eish he was somewhere I also don't know. They were prolly together."

"How come y'all let them do that to her?"

"We didn't. Here's the thing, I was a fuckin drug addict. Drugs were just too good so I never paid attention to a lot of shit. Was either selling drugs, using them, making them or killing people. Luca and Malik on the other hand had their own problems I don't even know of. Lola was never close with us. Was never close with anyone. She kept everything to herself. Even the murder and the rape, she kept it to herself. We only found out two months later because she had a mental breakdown and spilled it all out. I swear to God I don't know why I didn't put a fucking bullet through those bitch's head." She sneered.

"What about the part of where she went missing?"

"We let her go. Luca was in jail at the time for murder that Lani caused. Tjay and Ryan were in jail for human trafficking. Malik was out tryna fix things with his fiancée and kids, and I was in rehab. After that the seniors of sixies which is me, Luca and Malik made the decision that she should be a free bird, she left. Never to be seen again. Up until Ryan and Tjay found her through Onika. You do know that part right?" She asked.

"Yea. Aye and what you mean murder that Lani caused?" I asked.

"She was out with two friends of hers. I don't know what they were thinking but they were young, like twelve. They decided to go out and rob a very popular convenient store during the second night of The Ride. Mind you Luca just came out of jail on probation. The day of the robbery, one of Lani's friends died because it did not go so well. So they didn't even complete the robbery. She came back to us in panic, covered in blood. She explained what happened. Little did she know Luca's Parole officer was coming to his garage, where we were because they came by now and then to check on what he's doing. 

So he told Lani to change out of her clothes and give it to him. She was wearing Ryan's hoodie to it fit him perfectly. When the popo came, they instantly arrested him with no investigation whatsoever. I can say after two and a half years, they let him out because Malik managed to drop all charges against him and say he's innocent." She explained. What!? That's mad crazy. He decided to take all the blame for her even tho they weren't close. Wow.

"Shit that's...,crazy. He took all the blame for her."

"Yea. I still find it crazy because every time I think of it, I'm at a loss for words."
