The day after internships, the class was abuzz with chattering. About their experiences, about the hero killer. Or about Bakugou's new hairstyle. Killua listened as Kirishima and Sero teased him, and he had to admit he'd love to get in on the banter. But Killua was too tense. Todoroki didn't even look at me when I walked in today. Usually they'd exchange a few words every morning. Neither of them were super talkative, but there was some sort of conversation usually. However when Killua walked in that morning, Todoroki didn't even glance in his direction.

"Woah dude, are you ok?"

Killua blinked, glancing up from where his eyes were boring a hole into his desk. Kaminari was beside him, glancing at him with a frown. "Eh?" He gave Killua a concerned look. "You're usually more...chill. And you've been glaring at your desk for the past ten minutes." Killua hadn't noticed that. He faked a laugh, placing his hands snugly behind his head as he leaned backwards against his seat. "Nah don't worry about me. I'm just tired." He lied. Killua caught Midoriya staring at him out of the corner of his eye, although he quickly looked away when their eyes met.

Surely they won't say anything, right? Killua thought, with worry. Kaminari shrugged, then walked away to chat with other classmates. Killua felt his faux smile fading, it didn't really matter underneath the mask anyways. Kinda sucks that my friendship with Todoroki is kind of ruined, but I still got Shinso at least. Killua thought, although it only made him feel a little better. Soon enough, they were being ushered out the door to a training site. Killua hung in the back of the ground as usual, trying to shove his uneasy thoughts away.

"Today its hero basic training!"

Allmight announced, with that flashy grin of his. "Listen carefully for what's in store." Allmight started, eyes glancing over the students. He explained that the class was going to be doing rescue training but with a twist. It was a race. Killua didn't really feel like racing, he just wanted to get this over with so he could go back home and mull over his options. I'll just make it quick. He thought, eyeing Allmight's shoulder. He strolled over to pretend to peek over his shoulder, 'accidently' bumping into him. In doing so, he attached a small amount of his own aura onto the pro's sleeve. Allmight didn't react, he just kept explaining the premise of the game.

He should be easy enough to track now, all I have to do is wait. Killua thought, as he made his way to the starting position. Everyone started in different places. He could sense the Nen he'd attached to Allmight move around, then stop. As soon as the whistle blew for the game to start, he activated Zetsu to hide his presence and was there within a handful of seconds. Allmight didn't notice him for a good while as he stood against the railing, arms crossed, just waiting for this stupid game to end. I wonder what I can teach Kalluto today. He thought. How can I teach him empathy...

Izuku leapt from pipe to pipe, trying his best to focus on his quirk. But he just couldn't stop thinking about what happened that night. I can't believe Killua's really killed people... He'd contemplated reporting it, or even just telling Allmight. But Izuku wasn't sure how much of what Killua had said was truth. It's possible he hadn't been lying at all, but what if he has other motives? It might even be possible Killua was working with the league of villains, and that was the only cover he could think of.

At first, he'd completely believed Killua's story. But... Watching him lie like that makes me wonder. It was so convincing, he was obviously used to lying frequently. When he first appeared too, was when the league of villains came. I mean he did punch Shigiraki though. Izuku was snapped out of his thoughts from pure shock as they started nearing the end of the race. Killua was just standing there, his arms crossed, standing right behind Allmight. He's already there? Suddenly, he slipped and fell face first onto the concrete. I forgot where I was putting my feet. Ow.

~~~~~~~Killua's PoV~~~~~~~~~
"Young Sero may have come in first, but compared-" Killua blinked, had the old man gone blind? Then, he realized. I forgot to deactivate my Zetsu. Oops. The other classmates in the race glanced at eachother in confusion for a moment. Killua deactivated his Zetsu, then reached forward to tap Allmight's shoulder. "I'm right here old man." To his amusement Allmight practically jumped out of his skin, head whipping around to look at him in shock. "Oh dear! Young Killua how long have you been standing there? You were...very quiet." He said, a tad awkwardly.
Killua shrugged, walking away from the group. "Sorry, forgot to make my presence known. Since this is done, I'll be on my way." He said, in a monotone voice. He wanted to make sure he changed before his classmates anyway to avoid unwanted comments. He'd managed to avoid changing with the other guys up until now, always making up some sort of excuse or purposefully making himself late. He quickly tugged off his shirts, letting out a deep exhale. He hadn't felt this kind of stress in ages. Killua definitely didn't miss it.
"Hey K-"
Killua stiffened as he heard a voice from behind him, quickly snapping his head around. Midoriya was standing in the doorway to the locker room, his eyes wide, glued to the horrific scars etched across his back like a moth to a flame. Shit. Killua quickly yanked his school uniform back on, his voice dropping a bit low. "You speak of this to no one." Midoriya finally dragged his eyes away, then nodded slowly. "Y-Yeah. But are you-" Killua interrupted him, knowing exactly what he was going to say. "I'm fine anyone with even a handful of braincells can tell they're several years old." He snapped, pushing past his classmate.
"Now move it."
