The day started off like any other day, except for the part when my glam team arrived.
And when I saw my wedding dress in person I was taken aback by it's beauty, a big white ball gown fit for a queen.

We then left to do the paperwork at the company with our lawyers present to legally declare us husband and wife, and now we're at our cover shoot.

So here I am standing next to my husband, his hand grazing my waist as we get our pictures taken.

"Can you pull her a little closer to you?" The photographer stops and asks.

Nathan slowly do as he's told, clearing is throat.

He hasn't said much to me the entire day, he also only said a few words to me when we arrived home last night.
The straight mundane expression on his face is making everyone in the room feel uncomfortable.

"Perfect." The photographer says taking a few more pictures.

Suddenly he let's go off me and walks to the side, "Let's take five. Everyone out."

One by one everyone starts to leave even our personal assistants and staff.

I watch as Nathan pours himself a glass of water, "I'm sorry, I just have the biggest headache at the moment, didn't get much sleep."

"I've been wondering why you look so angry." I walk closer to him.

He chuckles for the first time today, "Don't worry, I'm not angry. I'm very happy actually, it's our wedding day."

I cross my arms looking at him, not buying his words and tone, "You wanted to tell me something last night, what was it?" I ask him straightforwardly.

Nathan turns and faces me slowly, and the look in his eyes makes me anxious, knowing his a man that is not afraid to hold back.
"Okay then." He grabs my left hand in his, "I thought that the moment I placed this ring on your finger that you would leave your past behind for me but I have a fear that it will never happen."

Fear?

Confused, I frown at him, "What are you talking about, Nathan?"

He drops my hand and sighs, "You know what I'm talking about."

The confusion slowly leaves as I come to the realization. His whole mood changed after he got ahold of my phone last night.

I hesitate before I speak, "Are you talking about Christian?"

Nathan stares at me with those grey eyes, "Why does he keep calling you? Better yet, why are the two of you texting each other? I've seen the call and chat logs from your lockscreen so think before you lie to me."

My heart slowly beating in my chest, I back up away from him but he takes a step closer.

"That's what I wanted to ask you last night but I tried so damn hard to keep the peace in front of my family and then I still had to kiss you, knowing that you're not over him, knowing you wished it was him right?" He asks, looking down at me.

"T-that's not true, Nathan." Is all I'm able to say.

The studio's door open. "Nathan." We hear Sebastian say.

Nathan takes a step back again, straightening his suit, "You're my wife, so start acting like it." He says and walks away.

The pained feeling he left me with have me questioning everything, especially how our first day of marriage is already a fuckup.

When I turn around I find myself all alone in the studio, completely disheartened by his words, but he is not wrong.

I'm his wife now.
