These are the released episode titles 1-6. As far as I know, The Crawl is the only one confirmed by the duffers. The others are rumoured but I'm taking them as canon.
S5 Ep1: The Crawl
Prediction: Could refer to how everything goes directly after s4, how they adapt and where we left off. Could be 'crawling' to a new normal or something. I definitely think there has to be a decent amount of exposition, which can be covered for the span of the episode or just for a section of it.
The Crawl might also refer to a new creature from the Upside Down that crawls.
S5 Ep2: The Vanishing of [SPOILER] Wheeler
There has been lots of speculation about this one. Mike and Nancy are the two featured Wheelers in the show which means it's either most likely or least likely to be them.
Nancy Wheeler has been previously targeted by Vecna and has been to the Upside Down three times in total. Nancy is too much of a badass to stay vanished for long, I think, and she's usually an important part of the plot because of her detection skills. I really don't think it will be Nancy, but anything could happen.
It is more likely for Mike Wheeler to going missing, because Mike doesn't add that much to the supernatural plot, especially recently, and all of his plotlines are focused on romance. I would kind of like him to go missing tbh because it would give an opportunity for us to see Mike without Will and El, through his own perspective. Don't think it will be him still, because he would realistically last about six seconds in the Upside Down, unless Vecna was holding him hostage with the intent to use him as ransom for either (or both) El/ Will to lure them to the Upside Down. Does that make sense?
If it is a temporary disappearance, it could be either of them, but if it lasts longer or ends in a death like Barb's, it will probably be one of the other three: Karen, Ted or Holly.
Let's be real, it's not gonna be Ted Wheeler because nobody cares. (sorry bro)
It could be Holly Wheeler, since she's a child that people want to protect and because of her age, is more likely to be noticed as being abducted. In season 1, Holly also had an interaction with the Upside Down when the lights flickered, and she saw the Demogorgon coming out of the wall. She has also had lines previous in s3, when she noticed the trees moving as the Mind Flayer, and at the very end of s4 when she saw the dust from the Upside Down mistaking it for snow.
In my opinion, it's more likely that it's Karen Wheeler. She's always been focused in on for no discernible reason, getting more screen time than it would be deemed necessary for a side character. I think it's all been building toward something, aka her disappearance/ death. It has to be important in some way to really affect the plot, so even if she doesn't go missing or die, I think Karen will be part of the supernatural plot in season 5 where she will play a semi-significant role.
S5 Ep3: The Turbow Trap
Really don't have much to say about this one except that a 'turbow' is a kind of weapon in D&D. My guess is that the 'trap' is kind of like the Sauna Test in s3 or some other such plot that either only half works out or goes horrifically wrong. This plot probably has something to do with Dustin, the biggest nerd, and the one who comes up with most of the names for things, like the demodogs and Vecna.
S5 Ep4: The Sorcerer/ Sorcerer
I have seen two different versions of this, one with no 'The' before it. I think it will because most of the episodes have 'The' before them with some exceptions like 'E Pluribus Unum' (apparently a motto of the US meaning 'out of many'), Dear Billy, Papa, Vecna's Curse, and Suzie, Do You Copy?
In my mind, The Sorcerer can refer to three different people: Vecna, Will and Eleven.
Vecna/Henry/One has been referred to as a 'dark wizard' and a wizard is a sorcerer basically. This feels too obvious though unless the episode is delving deeper into Vecna's past, though that's what the new Stranger Things on stage is doing to my understanding.
Eleven is the 'mage' in the party and has her powers, but I don't think The Sorcerer is in reference to her.
Will's D&D alter ego, Will The Wise, is often depicted in his drawing as a wizardly figure. He was also dressed up as wizard in s3 when he was trying to get Mike and Lucas to play D&D with him. Will has also been confirmed to be a main focus in s5 so it is highly probable this episode is about him. There will also be flashbacks of Will in the Upside Down (confirmed) which I'm really excited for.
There is also a fourth option that's a little more out there, which is El's 'sister' Kali. That whole plot sucked to be honest and I hope they don't revisit it but it has been said by the Duffer brothers that they will be incorporating parts of s2 into s5, things they didn't get to do and ideas they had.
I hope when they say that they're talking more about other things, like Will's connection to the Upside Down (perhaps him getting powers or something).
S5 Ep5: Shock Jock
A 'shock jock' is a DJ. I'm not fully sure what this could be about, but music has played a significant role before in s4. This could also have something to do with the Snow Ball and Bob Newby, coming back to the s2 thing.
S5 Ep6: Escape From Camazotz
'Camazotz' is, according to Wikipedia, 'a bat spirit at the service of the lord of the underworld'. In this metaphor, Vecna is the lord of the underworld, and the bat spirits are his bats that he sics on trespassers. The bats that killed Eddie.
I don't think Eddie's coming back as a vampire, all apologies.
I guess there's going to be another battle with the bats. One theory I have that I think would be so cool is if Will goes all evil and powered and shit, he'll be able to control the bats and sets them on someone (namely Mike).
