Dudes, I wrote this at like 3AM and i actually have no idea what it is but here you go ig

So, throughout all seasons we've seen some kind of significance with cars, such as hopper's mobile, Steve's BMW, and the Toddfather (I find the references so funny. There was another one in season three where they quoted Die Hard: "You are a policeman. Policemen have rules." Iconiccc).
This season, we're also seeing shots of Steve's car, this time occupied by Nancy and Jonathan:

We can only assume that Steve is in the driver's seat and that Dustin is in the passenger (because what's the point if we don't have the dynamic duo comedy gold)
This shot also reminded me of a similar one in season 2 of Jancy:

Maybe this is unintentional but they could also be really taking us back to our roots like they've said with some OG pairings (Nancy, Steve and Jonathan, the D&D club, Hopper and Joyce)

all's looking well except for STEVE'S HAIR WTFFFFFFF but they're not in character so I'm letting it go for now.
