these are all of the confirmed recurring characters though ik that linda hamilton has joined the cast, but i have no idea who she's playing or why she's there so 

i'm also not sure why they felt it was necessary to add a brand-new character to the final ever season, bc tbh i don't really care and the duffers have a habit of just killing off or discontinuing every new character so it's not looking good for linda whoever she is 

Eduardo Franco (who played Argyle) and Tom Wlaschiha (who played Dmitri Anotov or Enzo) were notably missing from the cast photo. Franco has said he doesn't think he'll be returning since he wasn't given any notice to come back and nobody really seemed to be talking about Wlaschiha, but I doubt he will be either. It's disappointing but not heartbreaking.

 Max Mayfield

What I want to happen:

-Max and Lucas will have their movie date

-Max and El will reunite 

-Max will get to tell Vecna to go to hell before he dies or something

-Max will kill Vecna

What will happen (probably):

-Max will wake up. Sadie Sink is a main cast member and being paid a lot, so Max is probably conscious for at least half of Stranger Things 

 Murray Bauman

What I want to happen:

-Murray will call people out on their BS and a potential couple will get Murray'd™️ (Stancy, Byler, Robin and Vickie)

-Murray will live (though he might not. The duffers will either go on a killing spree and go Hunger Games on this bitch or barely anyone will die, except for a really important character/characters)

What will happen (probably):

-With Murray, literally anything

-Murray will probably drink alcohol if some description, ideally vodka because 'commie bastards make a good spirit' (happens every season he's in)

Robin Buckley 

What I want to happen:

-Robin will have one of her moments where she talks really fast but as a confession to Vickie about how much she likes her and how pretty she is because I can literally see it so clearly, I have a whole ass script

What will happen (probably):

-Robin will get together with Vickie

-Robin will be stressed (happens every season she's in)

-Robin will call someone 'sweetie' (there was a script leak of her talking to like a child or something who she calls 'sweetie', but they could've cut that)

-Robin will know the tea (happens every season)  

Steve Harrington

What I want to happen:

-Steve will use the baseball bat (because it's iconic, and I love to do iconic shit)

-Steve will have a 'let's go lesbians' moment when Robin and Vickie get together

-Steve will unite with Jonathan and Joyce in the Protect Will Byers Brigade

What will happen (probably):

-Steve will not die (the uproar would be catastrophic and it's so unnecessary especially because of all of that character development, and it's almost predictable at this point bc of how many people have been talking about it)

-Steve will end up with someone (there's been lots of lead up, whether it's Nancy or someone else)

-Steve will be an ally

-Steve will be awesome because he's Steve The Hair Harrington

-Steve will be confused (it happens every season) 

-Hands on the hips mom stance 

Dustin Henderson

What I want to happen:

-reunion with Susie

-Dustin will live (I think Gaten Matarazzo said he wanted his character to die so he could have an epic death scene, which could happen. It would be super sad and effective if Dustin was killed off. They'd be lost without him)

-Dustin will have more emotional scenes because Gaten Matarazzo is an amazing actor

What will happen (probably):

-Dustin will be smarter than everyone (happens every season)

-Dustin will be sassy (happens every season)

-Dustin will be an absolute star (happens every season) 

 Vecna

What I want to happen:

-Vecna says 'it's Britney, bitch' even though it's the wrong era 

-'Vecnussy' is used as a term in the show

What will happen (probably):

- Vecna will die and burn in hell (how could he not?)

-Vecna will either be homophobic or fake sympathetic

-Army of Upside Down creatures

-Vecna will trauma dump more people (but with their own trauma)

Vickie (No surname that I know of)

What I want to happen:

-Vickie will be one of my favourite characters (it's looking promising but we'll see)

What will happen (probably):

-Vickie will end up with Robin

-Vickie will become a part of the supernatural plot (Amybeth McNulty is part of the main cast and Vickie will be a recurring role so I presume this will happen)
