Y/n's POV
After walking back in, I see the others are about to go on stage as Freya signals me with her eyes to hurry up.
As they start to play, I'm quickly wired backstage as David, our manager, comes up to me.
"Next time, you can be there a minute earlier"
"I'm only a minute late, that's almost record time" I say, winking playfully at him as I wrap my guitar around my neck. I quickly took a line and wipe my nose to remove the residue.
Then I make my way to the stage as I adjust the plug in my ear.

I stand behind my microphone and join in, I'm a little late but the audience doesn't seem to mind. The lead singer's voice enchants all the women anyway, at least the straight ones.
I'm responsible for the others.

Lizzie's POV
The lead singer's voice is really beautiful. But suddenly, another person came on stage, a woman who was just standing next to me with a cigarette in her hand and asked me my name. When she starts singing, I can't stop looking at her, she looks hot, and the guitar doesn't make it any better.

"Did we unravel a long time ago?
Is there too much we don't want to know?
I wish it was easy, but it isn't so
Oh, we could make a good thing bad
Oh, we could make a good thing bad"

Just before her guitar solo, she looks over at me and winks, warming me up again.

"Damn the lead singer is so hot" Scarlett says to me, but I'm honest, I can't take my eyes off the other lead singer.
"Yeah" I answer her anyway.

"By the way, we've been invited to the after party" I tell her.
"What by who?"
"I think I had a smoke with the lead singer without knowing it was her"
"What y/n invited us to the afterparty?"
So y/n is her name.

...

The first song is over quicker than expected.

"Thank you all for being here, my name is y/n" she says looking at me with a grin "the handsome man next to me is Kyle, on keyboards is the lovely Freya, on drums is Ethan and on bass is Luke and together we are the Pulse" she says and starts right into the new song.

I have to say, I think the music is great and the atmosphere of the band is incredible! They have great energy and use every corner of the stage. The stage is their home.

After the band had brought a great atmosphere to the bar for an hour, they said goodbye.

"Okay, are we going to the afterparty now?" Scarlett asks a little excitedly.
"Fine by me"
We have another shot and then make our way to the VIP area.

"Your names please" says one of the security guards, who is holding a list in his hand.
"Ehm, Elizabeth" I say and the man goes through his list.
"I don't have one here, maybe under a different name?"
Then I remembered how I introduced myself:
Elizabeth, but everyone calls me Lizzie.
"Lizzie" I say.
"Here. Lizzie plus one" he says and lets us in.

The VIP area is bigger than I thought. There's another bar and a bigger dance floor.
There are already quite a few people there.

We make our way to the bar, where we get another drink and, surprisingly, everything here is for free.
The music is really great and I have to say I'm in a great mood. The alcohol is also starting to take effect and I just want to dance.
Just as I was about to suggest it to Scarlett, someone sat down next to me.

"I knew I'd see you again, Lizzie"
It's y/n.
"If I hadn't come, my friend would probably have killed me, this is Scarlett"
"Hey, I'm a huge fan"
"Nice to meet you" y/n says with a smile.
