Heyy and welcome to the new chapter. I apologize in advance that it's a slightly shorter chapter this time, but I have a lot to do at the moment, but I still want to upload something for you regularly so you don't have to wait so long.

Lizzie's POV
"I'm sorry to hear that" is all I can say. I don't even want to imagine having such a big loss. I love my siblings more than anything and couldn't imagine losing any of them.
"It's been a few years" she says, but a little dismissively. You can tell that even though it's been a few years, it still affects her a lot, but I can understand that very well.

A short time later, we arrive at my car.
"Do you need a ride home?"
"That's all right, I like walking"
"At this time? At night? Alone?"
"Yes"
"Do you like being murdered?"
"A little" she says with a laugh.
"Come on, you can go for a walk when it's bright outside"
She has to grin a little, but then gets in on the passenger side. I turn on the heating to make it a little warmer.

The car ride was pretty quiet, but it wasn't unpleasantly quiet. I kept thinking about her sister. What was her name? How old was she? How did she die? All questions I don't dare ask. I don't know how she would deal with it and whether it still makes her very sad to talk about it. I don't want to make her sad, so I don't.

After driving her home, I unlock the door and turn on the light. Robbie is already in bed.
As I change, I realize I still have y/n's jacket. I put it on the shelf and lie down in bed.

That message makes me grin. I'm glad that Robbie is fast asleep next to me and doesn't notice me grinning like a teenage girl in front of my cell phone because of a message.

I found the way she avoided the conversation a little funny and I had to grin again. Why do I have to grin so much? She's just a friend Lizzie! A friend... who I slept with! A friend I almost slept with again!

...

The next morning I have a breakfast date with my sisters as they are back in Los Angeles for a fashion show. I can hardly wait to finally see them again. It's been too long and I just love them too much for that.

Lizzie
I'm meeting my sisters in a minute, I can bring you the jacket on the way back
Do you have rehearsal again tonight?

After sending the message to y/n, I make my way into the café when I see them already sitting at one of the tables.

"Heyyyy" I say as I walk up to them and they fall straight into my arms. It's only now that I realize how much I've really missed them.

"Omg tell us everything! What did we miss?" Mary-Kate asks.
"Where should I start? There's not much going on at work at the moment, so I'm out at parties with my friends a lot."
"That sounds great!"

At that moment I get a message.
"Who's y/n?" asks Ashley.
"A friend"
"Omg wait, y/n? As in the pulse?"
"Yeah?"
"Omg what?! Why am I just finding out now that you're friends with her?"
"We haven't known each other long, I met her at one of her little private concerts that Scarlett dragged me to"
"Omg!!! She's so hot and I love her music!!!" says Mary-Kate.
"How good of a friend are you with her?" asks Ashley.
"Why?" I ask.
"Well we have our huge diversity themed fashion show next week and they would be perfect as live music! I mean y/n screams gay!!!! Hot lesbian! And the music fits more than anything!"
"I can ask her" I say and open the message she sent me.

Yes, that's right, we're rehearsing again tonight

"I can ask her tonight" I say.
"Omg you're the best!" says Ashley.

We spend a few more hours in the café. We haven't seen each other in a while, so we have a lot to talk about. They also tell me all about their new collection and I have to say what they're telling me is really great! And I can understand more why they want the Pulse as a band, they're a great fit.

After talking about all sorts of things, the two of them had to leave, as they still have a lot to prepare for the fashion show, which is coming up soon.
So I make my way to the rehearsal room, which I've been visiting quite often lately.
When I go in, I don't hear any music. The five of them are sitting at a table drinking a beer.

"That looks like a tough rehearsal" I say with a laugh as I enter the room with my jacket under my arm.
"Sing for two hours straight and we can talk again" says y/n, coming towards me.
"Believe me, nobody wants that" I reply and we both laugh.

"Thanks for the jacket" she says.
"Thanks for borrowing it to me" I answered.
"Can I ask you something else?" I ask, thinking back to earlier and the conversation with my siblings.
"Sure"
"I've just met up with my siblings and they found out that I know you, so they asked me if I could ask you if you'd like to perform with your band at their fashion show"
"So you're talking about me?"
I could feel myself blushing.
"Your message popped up when I was talking to them" I said in defense.
"Why don't you join us and tell us more about this fashion show"

And that's exactly what I do, after they've given me a beer, I tell them all about the fashion show and what its purpose is and they are thrilled.
"Sounds great!" says Ethan and the others can only agree.
"The timing should work out too, we don't have any planned gigs at the moment" says Freya.
"Perfect, then we'll clarify everything with David and get back to you" y/n finally says.
"Perfect, just text me and I'll let my siblings know"

Even though I wasn't there for a long time and we only talked about business, I have to say that I always enjoy spending time with them. They all just have such a warm and relaxed manner, which I think is great and makes me feel comfortable. I hope to stay in touch with them, even if it might be through Hailee.
