You can look forward to it 😉

Lizzie's POV
I had told Robbie about this party and then we argued again, but agreed in the end that he would just come along. I don't know what to make of it, but I really wanted to see y/n again before she was gone for weeks or months.

And so here I am, standing in front of the mirror, getting ready for the party. Robbie is already ready. He's changed into jeans and a T-shirt.
I'm wearing a slightly shorter red dress with my red lipstick and waved my hair.

"You look great" Robbie says as I come out of the room.
"Thanks" I reply, not knowing if he meant it.

We made our way to y/n's house as it was going to be a house party today, which I was really looking forward to.

When we arrived, I could already see a few people. Scarlett unfortunately couldn't make it today, but Hailee is coming, which I'm really happy about.

Luke had asked her if she wanted to come on tour, but unfortunately she couldn't as she was starting filming soon. She said she would be at every concert in the area.
It will be hard for her. The two of them have just got together and will now have to maintain a long-distance relationship for a while. Not everyone can manage that, but I believe in them and hope that they will get through it well.

"Lizzie"
Speak of the devil. She comes up to me and hugs me. Then she says hello to Robbie. My friends don't like Robbie, but they accept him, which is fine by me.

We set off and start looking for drinks. If I want to get through the evening, I'm going to need quite a few. Robbie doesn't hold back there either.

"And you said, you can always find ME at the bar". When I hear her voice, I immediately grin.
"Heyy" I say and give her a hug. She strokes my back with her hand.
Then she shakes Robbie's hand.
"I'm glad you came" she says to him. But it doesn't sound that credible. She's told me many times that she doesn't like him and I can understand that. I can understand everyone. If I met him now, the way he is, I definitely wouldn't fall in love with him, but I know him from before. I know how he used to be and how he could be again.
If he wanted to be.

Y/n and I talk a bit about the tour, which she has just told me starts in two days. Robbie doesn't even bother to be part of the conversation. All he does is watch y/n skeptically as she talks. But she doesn't let him distract her.

The party is great, I just don't let Robbie drag me down and celebrate with my friends. I try to keep a little more distance from y/n, just to make Robbie feel safe. Even though I don't want to leave her side and want to dance with her again. I want to feel her hands on my body.

...

"I'm going to get a drink" I say to Robbie sometime after midnight. The first people are already swimming in the pool. I think back to when y/n threw me in and we lay on top of her bed with our wet bodies. When our skin touched and her hand slid up my thigh.
Lizzie! You need to focus!

"What are you thinking about?" y/n asks as she sits down with me. You.
"Nothing" I reply.
"Is everything all right?" she asks me.
I don't know.
"Yes" I lie. This is the last time I'll see her before the tour, I don't want to bring the mood down.

We were reaching for a drink at the same time when she touches my wrist. It's not that bad, but over the days it's become a bit bluer and it hurts quite a bit. I put on a long-sleeved dress so that nobody could see it.
"Are you okay?" she asks me and points her head at my wrist.
"Yeah, I just bumped it a few days ago" I lie, hoping we'll just change the subject. It didn't work. My bruise sticks out a little from the fabric. She grabs my arm, but carefully, not like Robbie did a few days ago. Then she pulls the piece of fabric up and reveals the blue ring that goes around my wrist.
